Once connected, the built-in 4-way flat output provides power for your trailer’s running lights, turn signals, and brake lights. It delivers the basic lighting functions most small and mid-size trailers need so you can hit the road with safe, reliable visibility.
Vehicles with separate turn and brake circuits need signal conversion for trailer lights to work correctly. This harness includes an integrated converter that combines those signals safely. Rated at 3 amps per stop/turn circuit and 7.5 amps per tail light circuit, it handles typical trailer loads without overloading your vehicle’s system.
The 4-way connector is designed to be stowed inside the rear cargo area when you’re not towing. Did not work. Took the vehicle to the local trailer dealership where they replaced the unit with one of theirs. Been working fine ever since.

Wow!. Fast service. I ordered this item on a Monday, maybe around noon. By the next day around 3:00PM it was at my doorstep via UPS Ground.
This item works exactly as it should and was a breeze to install. Just like the video on the etrailer website demonstrated, you just basically plug it in to an existing plug on the vehicle, (a 2001 Chevrolet Venture), and connect the white ground wire to the body of the vehicle. Thanks etrailer!
Ordered this for my brothers 2004 Chevy Venture. Installation was simple: Plug and Play! It's been a year and it still works perfectly. Can't say enough about this company. Super fast shipping, and excellent tech support if you need it.
Works great. Was difficult to find the vehicle in-line connector. It was hidden behind wiring and tubing for rear blower assembly. Once located, and pulled out to get to it, install was a cinch. But I did have to remove LR taillight assembly to get enough wire release to pull factory connector plug assembly out of it's hiding place. Obviously, it did not go back where it came from.
This van is the Premier version of the Olds Silhouette.
The trailer hitch installed in about 20 minutes and has functioned well towing small trailers. The wiring took a little longer to interpret the instructions, but once we got started, the install was very simple. I did not rate the product 5 stars because I have not put a significant load on the hitch to know how good it might be.

ok I really aint used the trailor that much but it seems to be ok
