Question:
I have a 2004 Venture mini van. I had a problem with the lights on a trailer I have. I had to rewire most of it. When I new I had it right on the trailer I plugged in the Venture van. Everything worked except the right turn signal. I also have a 2008 Grand Caravan, with that vehicle everything worked. So do I have to replace the harness on the Venture. Why would just the right signal not work? Thanks for your help.

Since the trailer lights are working when connected to the 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan, it sounds as though the converter that is in your 2004 Chevy Venture trailer wiring harness might be damaged.
You will need to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 and check the wire for the right turn signal that is going into the converter box. If it has power going into the box, then you will need to check the wire for the right turn signal coming out of the converter box.
If there is no power on the wire coming out of the converter box, then that would mean the converter is damaged and you would need to replace the wiring harness.
The wiring harness you would need for your 2004 Chevy Venture is the Curt Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector, # C55355, which is connected to the vehicles harness located behind the driver side trim panel close to the taillights.
I am sending a link with the installation instructions for the wiring harness.
