The Curt trailer hitch # 13344, is a fit for a 2003 Pontiac Montana. The hitch fits all models of the 2003 Montanas. In terms of the different hitches available, see link, they will all look similar once installed. The receiver will be visible but most of the crosstube will be hidden behind the rear fascia.
There are both 2 inch and 1-1/4 inch hitches available for this vehicle. The Curt hitch is a Class III with a 2 inch receiver. The 2 inch hitches are more versatile than the 1-1/4 inch options. If there is a 2 inch hitch available for a vehicle I recommend going with it because of the versatility.
I have included a link to the installation instructions and a video for the Curt hitch. If you plan on doing some towing, I recommend the etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4. It comes with a ball mount, interchangeable ball set, a hitch pin with clip, and a carrying bag. For trailer wiring, use # C55355. I have included instruction links for the wiring as well.
