Location of Factory Connection Point for Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2003 Chevy Venture

Question:

Trying to install your c55355 for 2003 Chevrolet Venture Van. I cant find the trailer wiring harness plug. Ive looked at the cable bundle behind the panel and simply cant find the plug. I note that you have a video for 2002 and 2004 but not 2003. Is there no plug on this model year/

The plug will be there on a 2003. It is just that we have not had a 2003 Venture in to make a video but we have had a 2002 and 2004.

To find the factory harness you will need to pull up the threshold panel in the cargo area so you can pull back the panel on the driver side. The wiring harness should be nearer the end of the vehicle. It can be either a single connector with nothing plugged into it or two connectors connected together. It can also be located behind an air conditioning unit behind the panel. You would have to move that out of the way as well.

It might be hiding behind another wire bundle or even taped up with another bundle so you cannot see it. There is also the possibility that it is forward or rearward of where it is supposed to be or even further down. This could mean that you would have to remove additional panels.
