This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver gives you solid towing and hauling capability with a Class III rating. It’s set up for a maximum gross trailer weight of 4,000 lbs and 400 lbs tongue weight, or up to 6,000 lbs GTW and 600 lbs TW when used with weight distribution. It looks like the hole in the bracket is 1 3/8 in length. The 4 way connector plug that you are using may be slightly shorter. Ecohitch now offers a 4 way bracket that is a magnetic mount that will keep your plug securely against the hitch. Part # 306-X6019 mounts to the hitch or the vehicle.
