Heavy loads and trailers can make the rear of your vehicle sag and the front rise, throwing off traction and steering. The Timbren Suspension Enhancement System – Rear Axle adds up to 12,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity to keep your ride level and stable. Its hollow rubber springs sit above the rear axle to share the weight with your factory suspension, helping maintain proper stance and control when towing or hauling.
Bumpy pavement or uneven job sites can beat up your suspension. These hollow rubber springs act as shock absorbers, cushioning your truck from impacts that would otherwise transfer through the chassis. The progressive spring design collapses smoothly under light loads for comfort, then stiffens up as weight increases for stability. You get a smoother ride loaded or empty while extending the life of your stock suspension.
When corners or crosswinds push one side of your vehicle down, each Timbren spring reacts independently to keep things level. That means less body roll when you swerve or turn sharply and better control when hauling off-center loads. Because each side engages only when needed, you stay balanced without extra stiffness during normal driving.
There’s no need for compressors, hoses, or air pressure checks here. The Timbren system bolts directly onto the frame with custom-fit brackets and hardware—no drilling required. Once installed, it automatically provides extra support as load increases, so you can haul heavy gear or tow without having to make manual adjustments before every trip.
Timbren springs will not increase your vehicle's weight-carrying capacity. Do not exceed the manufacturer's recommended weight limit.

Timbren bushings are great because they are simple to install, have no ancillary systems to rely on like compressors, and self adjust with changing loads. I have used them for years on multiple trucks and only had one bushing break. Timbren replaced it for free under their lifetime warranty! This is a great product.

After attempting to install airbags that ultimately had to be returned bc of a Fitment issue, I switched to the Timbrens. Although they make no difference unloaded, they helped settle the rear axle down when towing our 5th wheel. Satisfied with the product, easy to install. The folks at etrailer were helpful with the exchange.
$[XX] for two brackets hollow rubber bump stops, and some hardware? SMH!
It’s been two weeks since I installed the 12,000 pound Timbren bump stops on my 2024 f450 pickup truck and my springs have almost completely flattened out. I absolutely do not think this product will support the 12,000 pound load capacity that etrailer or Timbren claims they will nor does it eliminate enough of the squat. I will be returning this product ASAP and ordering Airbags.
They are excellent. However, the real excellent part is that the original pair ordered was stolen. Yes, you heard correct and I’ll say it loudly, they were stolen in transit and ups literally delivered an empty box. A box that clearly states 10lbs they actually had the gall to place at my door completely empty. But etrailer stepped up and made it right. That’s the true excellent part etrailer’s service. They are fantastic.
These bumps stops are like running a marathon barefoot on concrete, by the end of the workday I am very fatigued and tired from feeling every bump that I hit.
what is the torque on these bolts?
For me this last transaction was not very etrailer like. The Timbrens are good.
Before I ordered the Timbren SES on the eTrailer web site I had a few questions so I called eTrailer. A woman answered and really wasn't very knowledgeable about the product but didn't offer to pass me along to someone who was. She instead referred me to Timbren. I was a bit put off and thought why should I buy from etrailer then. I told her "well I'll just buy straight from Timbren then". She was a bit snarky and said they may not sell to the public (which they do, something else she wasn't aware of). I checked the Timbren site. Their price was a tad higher and the delivery would be later so I went back to the eTrailer site and just purchased the Timbrens.
At the time of ordering, the delivery was estimated to be Nov 8. Since I was leaving on a trip on the 11th, this would give me time to get them, install them and test them.
The package didn't arrive until late on the 10th - two days late. The Timbren box was in rough shape. It looked like it had been previously opened and then overly taped back up.
I opened the box and did a quick inventory. Just my luck, it was missing the bolts and shims. I called etrailer to inform them but they couldn't do anything for me quickly. As I was up against a timeline, I went to a local hardware store and bought the needed hardware for just under $5 but what an inconvenience. It should be noted the other components in the box were in good shape. The installation thereafter was a breeze even in the dark.
Since I was leaving on my trip in a few hours I could only hope the Timbrens would work as well on this truck as they did on my 2015 since I didn't get a chance to test them.
While they did credit my card for $5, I received absolutely nothing from Timbren after emailing them with the above information.
The Timbrens are a good product but etrailer fell flat this time.

After a year the Timbren suspension product has been performing well - very satisfied. What I was not satified with was eTrailers response to my complaint of their service before and after my purchase. I still havent bought from them since.
Great product, it works perfect on my truck. Sometimes I tow up to 30k lbs including my trailer and my truck stays level. No more high beam flashing in my eyes from drivers going in the opposite direction on the road.
First off I haven’t actually used them yet with the trailer but first impressions are good of course E-Trailer‘s customer service expedited. Shipping was excellent ease of installation of this product. Super easy. I’ll give another review after I do a couple hundred miles with the trailer.
This is my second set of Timbrens. I have tested my truck pulling a fifth wheel with them and without them. I most definitely prefer to have the Timbrens on my truck. The ride is smooth and steady with zero maintenance. If I ever have a third truck I will most certainly purchase them again.
I installed the Timbren suspension and fit perfectly. Very easy to install, no special tools required. I have a 2023 F-450 and hall a 45’ fifth wheel. I was getting about a 2” of squat with the factory suspension system. This should help me tremendously.
Put these on a 2026 f450, the pickup has ~2000lb load in the bed at all times. It dropped 3” with the stock suspension. Was hoping these would bring some of that sag back up but only gained 1/2” and a rough ride. Will be removing and would not recommend.
