Question:
Hi, I have a 2021 F450 Pickup and I have the severe service timbren kit on the rear of the truck. I now see that a 12,000lbs kit is now offered for the rear. I haul a bi-deck 5 car trailer with it. Will the 12.000lbs Timbren kit offer me more? Will it offer less squat, more stability, is it worth buying over the current severe service kit that I have on it now? I have the severe service kit with a 1inch spacer and it has 1inch unloaded gap.

Hey Dustin, welcome back! The Timbren SES # TFRSDJ will offer you more support over the severe service kit # TFRTT350J. Are you experiencing squat with your current Timbrens? If you are then it would be worth upgrading. If you really aren't, then it isn't worth the money.
The severe service kit has a different design and engages sooner to help with constant, top-heavy loads like a slide-in camper. With that heavy car hauler you will gain more from the higher capacity of the standard Timbren SES which is geared towards towing.

Hey Dustin, how did things turn out after switching to the higher-capacity Timbren kit on your F450? Did you notice any difference in squat or stability when hauling your car trailer? Your feedback could really help others comparing the two setups.
