Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Pacbrake Alpha HD rear axle double-convoluted airbag suspension kit. Now, this kit has been designed to fit your 2021 and newer Ford F-150 4-wheel drive, and this will fit the Power Boost models, however, this kit is not going to fit the Raptor or Lightning models, and for the 2-wheel drive models, you should use the kit number that you see there on your screen. That includes the required two-inch spacers. So all that to say on custom-fit parts such as this kit, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com.
Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you, or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now, heavy trailers, full beds, gear piled high, that all changes how your truck handles. Without the right support, you're gonna feel it immediately, whether it's sagging in the rear or handling, or a ride that gets unpredictable very fast. This airbag system is gonna put you back in control with up to 5,000 pounds of load leveling support. And this is gonna help reduce that squat, it's gonna improve steering response, and help keep your truck stable when the weight stacks up.
But as you know, every haul is different. That's why these air springs give you full control over the ride height and firmness with adjustable air pressure from 5 to 100 PSI. So if you're, for instance, hauling a fifth wheel or a full bed of gravel, you can crank up that pressure and then when you're unloaded and heading home, you can drop that pressure back down for a softer ride. So all that to say, everything here is designed to handle whatever you throw at it, whether it's rough road conditions, bad weather, this system is designed to take the brunt of all of that. So you're not gonna have to worry about this system with bad roads or bad weather. So this kit is designed to work with your setup today. These precision laser-cut brackets are designed to bolt, to cleanly bolt, rather, to your truck's existing mounting points with that hardware. So it's designed to work with your setup as it stands now or wherever your upgrades take you tomorrow. Again, you're gonna be able to inflate manually with the standard air valves right out of the box. No extra parts needed. But if you already have an onboard compressor, that's great, because these are going to connect easily to most existing setups. Or maybe you're planning for something like an in-cab wireless controller down the road. That's not gonna be a problem either because the foundation has already been built in with this kit, making it easy to expand your control options when you are ready. And so, as I mentioned, this is going to give you 5,000 pounds of additional leveling support, but do be aware of the fact that these airbags do not actually increase your weight, your truck's weight carrying capacity. So you wanna make sure that you're not exceeding your manufacturer's recommended weight limit.
