Question:

I have a 2020 Ford F-250 with the factory prep package. Which air bag system should I use to help with towing a 5th wheel trailer with GVWR of around 16000-lbs?

Because you have the factory prep package on your 2020 Ford F-250 you'll need an airbag system that installs under the frame rail as opposed to outside of it, where the factory prep package would interfere with it. For that reason I recommend going with the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57399 (standard) or the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL88399 (ultimate). The Ultimate version has an internal jounce bumper that will allow you to temporarily carry a load with zero air pressure in your springs.

The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 springs both have a pin weight capacity of 5000-lbs which should be more than enough to handle your 16000-lb GVWR 5th Wheel trailer.

Check out the videos I attached that provide installation instructions as well as a review of these air bags; I think you'll find that these are pretty easy to install yourself and are going to make towing your 5th wheel much smoother.
