Question:

I have a 2024 F450 Platinum 4x4. It has a 4 inch lift kit installed. I previously owned a 2022 Ford F450 King Ranch and I installed Firestone Airbags and air compressor. I kept the compressor when sold but let air bags go. I was not impressed with them, the drivers side always seemed like it when pumped up it was at an angle. How do you rate these compared to firestone and what would I need to additionally for the 4 inch lift so they will fit?

Hi Chris, welcome back! Firestone makes the better air bags but the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL57399 brackets are better than the Firestone so I don't expect the same issue you had before. With Air Lift I actually recommend getting the model with the internal jounce bumper # AL88399 for that extra protection and support if you don't have enough air pressure. Since you have a 4" lift you will need the Air Lift Universal Air Spring Spacers for LoadLifter 5000 and 7500XL - 4" Lift # AL52440 as well.

Are these for extra support while towing?
