When heavy cargo or a trailer pushes your suspension to its limit, rear-end sag can make steering and braking unpredictable. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate air springs add up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity to keep your rig level and stable. By sharing the weight across all four wheels, they help maintain safe headlight aim, improve tire wear, and keep your handling predictable when towing or hauling heavy loads.
Air Lift’s internal urethane jounces work inside the air bags to cushion your ride and absorb bumps before they reach the cab. These built-in springs engage progressively—the more weight you carry, the stiffer they get—helping prevent bottoming out and cutting down on sway or bounce. If your air pressure drops, the jounces act as a fail-safe to temporarily support the load until you can re-inflate the system.
Every load is different, so being able to dial in support matters. The LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate system lets you adjust air pressure anywhere between 5 and 100 psi. Inflate both sides equally to level front-to-back or tweak each bag individually for side-to-side balance when carrying uneven cargo. Manual inflation valves and air lines are included for straightforward setup, and you can add an optional compressor kit for in-cab control.
Durability matters when you’re relying on your suspension every day. These air springs use 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber with corrosion-proof Zytel nylon endcaps that are lighter and stronger than steel. Exclusive upper and lower roll plates protect the bags from damage and extend service life by spreading out stress across a wider surface area. The result is a dependable system built to handle demanding loads trip after trip.
Installing serious load support doesn’t need a shop visit. The kit includes mounting brackets, hardware, manual inflation valves, and air lines so you can bolt it up with basic tools. Great instructions and easy installation! Fit perfectly! Loaded my tractor to test them out and they completely leveled my sagging truck with 42psi.
Works amazing. The install was a little more difficult than it appears… It actually took me and a couple other guys five hours to get it completely installed.
There was a lot of cutting/grinding metal to make pieces fit properly, and had to drop the axel completely… I think that’s only for my gen 2 raptor.
At the end of the day, though I’m very happy with the result
I was easy to install just a few hours. Everything in the kit fit well. It would be nice if an extension brackets were provided for the brake line/abs wire mounting bars would be included like the brake line adapters that’s provided in the kit is my only recommendation to make it top notch.

Pretty easy Install! Took just under 2 hours to complete. I put a single fill valve in by my gas cap behind the door.

Installation was fairly difficult. I've installed other air bags on other model trucks. It could just be my Titan. Installation was easier with 2 people.
Well, after a year using my airlift 5000 I am happy to say that this unit is working great. I have towed my trailer with 2 polaris RZRs and fully loaded to Colorado without a problem. Without the airlift my truck would kind of sag but with the airlift , it looks as if the trailer was empty. Very happy with the product and would highly recommend them. The only issue I've had is that one of the tube fitting had come apart, but i have ordered new ones.
Year of ownership, traveled from Florida -> Michigan -> Yellowstone/Tetons/Denver -> Florida with a 9k lb 33ft 5th wheel. No squat, great ride! The installation video was spot on and made life easy.
That said, I've had both bags fail on me at one point or another (installation issues on my part...careful how you route your airlines going to the fittings on top of the bags). AirLift replaced them both each time no questions, no issues. Excellent customer service, great product, and definitely recommended.
The Loadlifter 5000 are great, these were recommended by George J. because they have the internal jounce bumpers. As little as 12 psi inflates it enough to get the lift I need for my Nissan Titan XD to stand up level when connected to the Jayco Eagle 5th wheel that I tow.
These were exactly what I was looking. We have a steep transition on our driveway and the equalizer bars on our travel trailer would drag the concrete when backing in. Installed the airbags and the airlift wireless compressor with ez-mount and now the bars clear the driveway. Installation was fairly easy once you raise the back of the truck enough to work the helper springs into position above the axle. I installed these on a 2021 Nissan Titan XD, that required moving some hoses and cables to make it fit, but the instructions were very clear on how to do this. Highly recommend this product.
Just had them installed, I’ll be hauling a 9800lb travel trailer soon. That will be the real test!
Added 40lbs of air, they sit the rear of truck up nicely.
