Features to know about

Stay Level and in Control: Up to 1,000 lbs of Front-End Support

When heavy front-end loads like a snowplow or winch drag your suspension down, the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs give your front coils the extra muscle they need. With up to 1,000 lbs of load-leveling support, they keep your front end at normal ride height so steering, braking, and headlight aim stay right where they should. By taking strain off the stock coils, these molded polyurethane springs help reduce tire wear and suspension fatigue while improving overall ride quality under load.

Fine-Tune Your Ride for Every Load: Adjustable Air Pressure

Whether you’re running unloaded or carrying a heavy front accessory, these air springs let you dial in the right amount of support. You can manually adjust the air pressure between 10 psi and 50 psi for trucks and SUVs or 40 psi to 90 psi for motorhomes. Inflate them evenly for level support or run dual air lines so each side can be adjusted independently to correct off-center loads. It’s an easy way to match your suspension feel to whatever you’ve got up front.

Smooth Out the Rough Stuff: Diminishes Sway and Absorbs Road Shock

Rough roads and uneven surfaces can make a loaded vehicle bounce and sway. These helper springs cushion the impact by absorbing road shock before it reaches your chassis. The result is more controlled handling through dips and corners and a steadier ride when the pavement gets rough. You'll feel less of the road’s harshness while keeping your front end firmly planted.

Straightforward Setup: Installs Inside Your Front Coil Springs

The Air Lift 1000 kit installs neatly inside your existing front coil springs without complicated modifications. The included hardware, tubing, and Schrader valves make manual inflation simple—just mount the valves in an accessible spot like the bumper and you’re set. If you want even more convenience, you can add a compressor system (sold separately) for on-the-fly air adjustments. It’s a practical setup that gets you back on the road quickly with dependable front-end support.

Very happy with the transaction. I received the package on time as promised by the seller. Plan to use it to replace existing on my motorhome.

by:

Great Customer Service Thank you My Order was Shipped and Received with everything I ordered within a few Days Thank You

by:

quick shipping quality product gonna install saturday

by:

These were challenging to install - I actually ended up pulling the springs to change out the old bags. They’re holding up well, don’t leak a bit, and show no signs of giving up any time soon.

by:

The installation was more challenging than l expected but the function is ideal for the comfort that do provide!

by:

Work great. Pain in the [butt] to get in but work as they should.

by:

A bit of a chore to install (was actually harder for me while removing the old ones!) - just get some video "how-to's" for great tips & tricks! Really stabilized our front end on our Class-A (Workhorse chassis) motorhome! :)

by:

Great product just tricky to install in winnebago sightseer. I forced them in 2 inch pvc pipe cut about 12 inches long oiled up really good then used a screw jack out of my silverado to push them through the 2 inch hole into the coil spring.

by:

The sales person was very helpful and answered all my questions quickly and accurately. I placed my order in a matter of minutes.
Shipping was free and arrived much quicker than I expected. With all that is happening in our country right now, no one wants to work
and the ones that do are all but useless, it very nice to work with people that care. I will definitely buy again and highly recommend!

by:

Product looks great fast shipping good customer service

by:

Haven't installed air bags yet. They appear to be a very high quality and what should last a long time. Etrailer was pleasant to deal with. If the need for more airbags comes up I will be happy to deal with etrailer again. Thank you for the fast shipping

by:

I ordered my products in the middle of the Corvid 19 shutdown. I was wondering if I would be able to order and receive my new Airlift airbags during this time. It was very nice to not only order them but to receive them in just a few days. With these new parts I will be able to continue the repairs on my RV and get it ready for what I hope will be a fun and relaxing summer. I'm glad y'all are still there to support people like myself!

Used inside coil springs on front of a class A motorhome chassis. No leaks - pressure holding after a year of installation. I would recommend these airbags to anyone

by:

I’m in my 70’s and installed them myself in my driveway. Class A Motorhome with Workhorse chassis Worked good on my low mile unit. Will not correct bad coil springs that are wore out

I’m very satisfied with the air bags. I used my air conditioner vacuum pump to collapse the bags for easy installation. Thank you,

by:

Great product, Great service behind it, I had problem when I received the item when I first received it as one of the air bags was damaged, however all it took was a call to etrailer and problem was resolved right away. They shipped out next day a replacement and have had these on my 2000 Winnebago Adventurer for over a year now and all is great.

by:

I am very satisfied with Air Lift , I installed the bag's in my Georgetown Motorhome and they work perfectly after trial and air getting the pressure to the ride I wanted , to make it easier to get the same pressure in both air bag's I connected the two line's into one air valve and mounted it in the front outside compartment getting the same pressure in both at the same time and not having to go under the coach to add the air .

by:

We bought our motor home used, a 2007 Winnebago 30B on the Workhorse platform. The original equipment front air bags were no longer viable. I ordered the Air Lift 1000 airbags from etrailer.com and installed them myself. It was a struggle but finally got them worked into place. The Air Lift bags made all the difference in the world as far as stabilization of the motor home driving down the highway. Excellent product! I run about 65 psi and that seems to be the right pressure for this motor home. Thanks to Air Lift for a great product and thanks to etrailer.com for great pricing and fast shipping!!

by:

First thing, Sorry if the photos are sideways! I took a couple of pics of the air bags because on the site it looks as if they are too skinny to work but NO they are the right size for your P30 Chevy Motorhome. The price was right for the complete kit as shown in the photo with the lines, bags, shields and other little bits for mounting the lines on the frame.

For install, there is a set of directions and an a informational packet for those other items you may want to monitor and maintain you air bags if you so desire. The instructions are pretty good but I'll tell you that hole on the control arm at the bottom ain't that big! I put the bags in hot water to soften them up before trying the rolling and tying part and it helped. Be prepared to spend about 2 hours total to get this done but as far as being complicated, it's not. I didn't have to jack up my RV to do this either. Front suspension will now have the added support it came with back in 1987. Glad to have found this kit vs. the Firestone one that is basically the same for more $$ and many times is not in stock. Can't wait for the first trip!

by:

I replaced the defective front air bags in a 2002 Workhorse P32 Allegro motorhome and they have performed well so far.
Be aware that installation is not for the novice mechanic as seems to be indicated in the installation instructions.
Also purchased the Air Lift Load Control II Compressor system for ease of use.

Sorry to be honest with you I had a setback, with the RV, but very satisfied with the product, and will be installing in the near future.

by:

I purchased AirLift helper springs for my Motorhome about a year ago. Installation was a bit tricky because they fit inside the coil springs but the difference they have made to my ride is impressive, no more jarring bumps from potholes and a much less stressful drive. I definitely recommend these air bag helper springs and thanks to eTrailer for their service.

I bought these to replace the blown bladders in my 2006 Winnebago Siteseer Worsehorse chassis. I'm a handy guy but was a little nervous about cutting out the old bladders and installing the Air Lift 1000 units. I found the customer comments very helpful especially the comment on using a heat gun to pull the old bladders out. The first one took me a couple of hours to figure out, the second one took me less than an hour to deinstall old and install new.

I REALLY appreciate the hose extensions for the valves. I installed them up in the engine compartment where I can easily access them for checking and topping off the air. For the units I replaced, I had to crawl up under the rig to check and fill--no more of that nasty, dirty crawl for this senior citizen.

Filled to 60 PSI, the first drive was noticeably different, the handling feels much stiffer than it had. We're launching out on a 3,600-mile road trip in the next couple of weeks, I'm looking forward to seeing how they handle on the open road.

My advice to folks-- the installation seems daunting, but the results are well worth the challenge. I encourage you to try this product.

After a year still very satisfied with these air lifts. Ive recommended them time and again to my fellow RVers

by:

Difficult to squeeze through access opening in control arm

by:

Packaging was good and my product was what I wanted the people were very helpful.

by:

5 stars.
Removing old bag: I found
that using a heat gun helps tremendously in removing the old bag. Heating it to almost the melting point then sticking a large knife to cut it in pieces and pulling out the bottom.

Installing the new one: I used gear hose clamps after rolling it up and using dish soap as a lubricant helped a lot.

Thanks for the follow up, I might suggest using something that is less likely to slice the air bag like some heavy duty twine, or maybe some zip ties.
