When you hitch up a trailer or stack the bed full of gear, the last thing you want is rear-end sag throwing off your handling. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 air springs add up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling support to your rear suspension. By carrying part of that weight, they keep your vehicle level for better steering, braking, and headlight aim. You avoid squat, sway, and bottoming out while keeping your tires wearing evenly mile after mile.
No two loads are the same, and these air springs let you dial in support as needed. Inflate both evenly to level front to rear, or inflate each bag separately to balance off-center loads. You can run as low as 5 psi when unloaded for a softer ride or go up to 100 psi for maximum support when the bed or hitch is packed heavy. Manual inflation valves and air lines are included so you can easily adjust pressure with a simple air source or optional onboard compressor system.
Hauling heavy loads means everything under your truck takes a beating, so durability matters. Each LoadLifter 5000 air spring uses 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber with exclusive upper and lower roll plates that boost load capacity and protect against damage. The high-strength Zytel nylon endcaps are lighter and more corrosion resistant than steel, so they won’t rust out over time. That combination gives you reliable performance through heat, rain, road grime, and heavy use without worrying about leaks or wear.
Adding serious suspension support doesn’t have to be complicated. The kit comes with mounting brackets, hardware, manual valves, and air lines ready for installation using common tools. Just mount the springs, route the lines where they’re easy to reach—often at the bumper—and inflate. Once installed, you can adjust air pressure anytime or upgrade later with an in-cab compressor system for even more convenience.

Would love to know your thoughts on them once you're able to try them out with the travel trailer, too! Thanks for sharing the different things you've used them with. Sounds like they are just the ticket for your scenario :)

Things are working well so far. I tow and haul during the spring, summer and fall. The most air I put in the bags was 50 PSI. The air still holds pretty good towing.Time will tell if the bags hold up as the bags age.

Nice job running the Schrader valves through the license plate, that's how I'd do it! '

Glad to hear they are working well for you and they weren't too difficult for your mechanic to get installed, Matthew! Sounds like you have your Taco pretty tricked out! Are you doing an overlanding type thing?
