Video Transcript for Breaking Down the Lift Spacers for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at these lift spacers for Firestone Ride-Rite air helper springs. Now these spacers are going to allow air springs to be installed on vehicles with a three-inch lift and the distance between the upper and lower brackets must be between 8 1/2 inches and 9 1/2 inches. And the spacer must be the same size as the lift kit rise. Now these will fit Ride-Rite model F2286 if manufactured after February 1st, 2006. However, I do wanna point out that these will not fit the Ride-Rite models F2350 or F2286. Now this does include everything that you see here on the table before me.

You're going to get two lift spacers and all of the hardware necessary to install these spacers and they're going to fit on your leaf-mounted air springs along with a set of instructions to walk you through the step-by-step process. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Recently added a 3” inch lift to my tundra. Was able to successfully add the Firestone airbags with the use of these lift spacers. I called Etrailer and explained what I was trying to accomplish and they put together the correct parts for me.

  • Can 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 with Lift Install Firestone Air Bag Kit
Hey Fili, so we do have solutions for air bag kits on trucks that are lifted like yours but it comes down to knowing by how much the vehicle was lifted to pick out the correct spacer. So what is your best solution is to go with a Firestone air bag kit like the part # F2250 and then measure the distance between the Firestone brackets once they are installed. Bracket Spacing (in.) 6.5 to 7.5-inches use spacer # F2536 7.5 to 8.5-inches use spacer # F2366 8.5 to 9.5-inches use spacer #...

  • Air Bags for Lifted 2016 Ram 2500 Using B&W Companion and Sidewinder
Hey Drew! The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2598 will work with this setup. If you take a look at the attached picture you'll see where they were installed on another Ram with coil springs like yours. The only way they won't fit is if you have the factory air suspension system. Since these are axle mounted the correct spacer is the # F2367. Also, Firestone has confirmed this will work with the OEM prep package so compatibility won't be an issue. With the puck system installed...

  • Will SumoSprings Fit 2023 Toyota Tundra TRD With Lift Kit
Hey Joshua! All of the SumoSprings like # SS46PV are designed to fit the Tundra at stock height. SuperSprings does not offer additional spacers to make up for the height difference so these won't work on your Tundra TRD with the lift. What you can use instead is the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # T45MR. You will also need the Spacer Kit for Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # T33AV. If you don't like the Timbren the only other option would be to add an air bag system like...

  • Will Firestone F2582 Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs Change Ride Height of 2019 Ford F-150
At the 5psi minimum recommended by Firestone, installing their # F2582 Ride-Rite kit will not change your existing ride height, as long as your suspension isn't worn and is in good working order. If the suspension is worn, it could slightly raise the ride height. Also, you might need a lift spacer depending on how much lift has been added. If the lift is less than 1-1/2 inches, you won't need a lift spacer, according to Firestone. If the lift is greater than 1-1/2 inches, you will need...

  • How To Tell What Size Firestone Lift Spacers Are Needed On A Truck With A 6 Inch Lift Kit
To determine what size lift spacer to use on your vehicle with Firestone Ride-Rite Air Springs, measure the distance between the upper and lower brackets of your air helper spring kit, and whether the kit mounts on the leaf spring or the axle. The spacer needs to be the same length as the amount of lift applied to the axle on which the air helper spring is installed. The axle mount kit would have the lower bracket mounted to the axle. The leaf mount kit would have the lower bracket mounted...

  • Will Firestone Air Lift Kit # F59XV Fit 2025 Toyota Tundra With 3" Lift Kit?
Shawn, good question - the Firestone air bag kit # F59XV kit can still work on your lifted 2025 Tundra as long as the factory rear jounce bumpers are still in place. If your truck has a true 3" rear lift, you can use Firestone’s 3" lift spacer # F2367 to keep the airbags at the correct height. The key is just making sure your lift didn’t remove or relocate the OEM jounce bumper bracket - Firestone’s brackets depend on that being in the factory spot. If you can confirm your Rough Country...

Hi Marcos; the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2550 will fit with your 4" lift as long as you have the stock jounce bumper spacers on your truck. Also, there are no options available with a higher psi or rating for your 2004 F-250. You will also need spacers since you have the lift. To find the right spacers measure the distance between where the upper and lower brackets would be on your F-250 then choose from the following based on your measurement: -7-1/2" - 8-1/2" - Lift...

  • Determining The Correct Spacers For Firestone Ride-Rite Springs On A 2018 Ford F-250 With 4" Lift
Adding in lift spacers is totally normal when a vehicle has a suspension lift so you'll just need to determine which spacer is going to be the best to fill in the gap left by the lift. A 4" lift doesn't always mean that you'll have a 4" gap so you'll need to first install the upper and lower brackets and then measure the distance between them. You can then look at the chart (pictured below) and pick the correct spacer kit for the gap. 1-1/4" # F2536 2" # F2366 3" # F2367 4" # F2370...

Installing the # F2703 on your 2012 F-250 will require moving the block in your picture. However, I'm not sure if it can be moved to the top of the jounce stop since we don't have any information on it and neither did Firestone. I recommend checking with the manufacturer before attempting to move it to the top. The other option is to completely remove it. If you are able to swap it with the jounce stop you can measure to see if a spacer will be required. You will need to measure the distance...

To determine if lift spacers are needed to install the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2558 on your 2018 Nissan Frontier SV 4x4, you'll need to measure the distance between the top and bottom mounting brackets (see photo). Make sure your truck has all four wheels on ground or is up on jack stands and there is no load on the bed. For your 2019 Ram 2500 the correct Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label air bag kit is part # F2706. The air bags in the kit have a maximum diameter of 7.52 inches at the widest point, compressed height of 3 inches, and extended height of 8.91 inches. However if your truck is lifted a spacer may be required to make up for the additional height. • Correct Lift Spacer for Ride Rite Kit F2299 with 6 Inch BDS Lift
The correct size lift spacer you will need for your Firestone Ride Rite airbags depends on how much the BDS Lift Kit will lift the rear of the vehicle. If the kit lifts the rear of your truck by 3 inches, then you would want a 3 inch spacer, # F2367. I'm not sure if I found the same kit you are purchasing or not, but in my research I found some BDS 6 inch kits that use a 4 inch lift for the rear. If the kit lifts the rear of the truck by 4 inches, then you would want a 4 inch spacer, # F2370.

None of the Air Lift kits are compatible, so I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F2430. These air springs have a comparable 4,800 lbs load leveling capacity. I would be happy to help you but there are so many different lift options its going to require you to take some measurements of your Chevy Silverado 2500's suspension. Most lift kits don't lift the same amount in the front as they do the back, so a 3-1/2" lift may only have 1"-1-1/2" of lift in the rear.
