Recommended Firestone Air bag Kit For a Lifted 2002 Ford F-350

Question:

I have a 2002 f350 dually that is lifted with 35s on it. I am pulling a 45-foot toy hauler approximately 20000 pounds and I was wondering what I could do for air ride in the back?

The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2590 will definitely fit your 2002 Ford F-350 Dually, but the lift will need a few extra parts to get it installed. First and foremost, the stock jounce bumper spacers must still be on the vehicle for installation. From there, you will need to select the correct spacer to coincide with the amount of lift you have on the vehicle like the Firestone # F2366. This does not mean a 2 inch lift uses a 2 inch spacer, however. You will need to go off the following measurements between the brackets to get the correct spacer.

6 1/2 to 7 1/2 - # F2536
7 1/2 to 8 1/2 - # F2366
8 1/2 to 9 1/2 - # F2367
9 1/2 to 10 1/2 - # F2370
11 1/2 to 12 1/2 - # F2374

Another item I suggest is a compressor kit. The Firestone Dual Air Command # F49VV is rated for heavy loads and is dual path so you can adjust either side to get the most even towing possible. The 1-Gallon tank also allows you to air up the bags quicker and the inflation hose can be used to air up tires if needed as well.
