Question:
I have a 2016 Ram 2500 megacab with a 3 suspension system from AEV. I am looking to get set up for a 5th wheel and want to make sure all these things will work together. First is a firestone airbag system. I think i will need 3 spacers but not sure which ones to get. The ones I looked at mentioned leaf springs, but my truck rides on coils. I also plan to install an OEM puck system and Ive seen some air spring kits mention that they wont work with... After that I want to run a BW companion with a Reese Sidewinder. Can you help me find the right combination for air springs and that everything in my plan will work together? Thanks-Drew

Hey Drew! The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2598 will work with this setup. If you take a look at the attached picture you'll see where they were installed on another Ram with coil springs like yours. The only way they won't fit is if you have the factory air suspension system. Since these are axle mounted the correct spacer is the # F2367. Also, Firestone has confirmed this will work with the OEM prep package so compatibility won't be an issue.
With the puck system installed you will need the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package # BWRVK3600. The correct Sidewinder will depend on your existing bolt pattern. More than likely you need the # RP34FR you looked at which fits the following:
Fabex 663 and 665
Lippert 0719, 1621 and 1621HD
M&M 663 and 665
Lippert 1716 and 0115 (spacer kit required - sold separately)
Lippert Rhino
If you aren't sure which pin box you have you can email me a picture of the sticker with the S/N on it and I'll identify it for you. Everything you're looking to add will work together and make for a really nice setup you'll be happy with.
Any big trips planned once you get everything installed?

Thanks! Always pleased with your service. Once I decide for sure on the trailer, I will for sure be ordering the sidewinder through you. Thanks again!
