Today we're going to be taking a look at the Roadmaster EZ Hook Safety Cables. These EZ Hook Safety Cables are going to be faster to connect than other cables. They're going to include the features of standard cables, with the addition of unique attachment system. Located on this end, we're going to have a stainless steel ball at the end of the cable that latches into a slotted anchor plate. These cables are going to measure 64 inches long. They're going to have a capacity of 8,000 pounds per pair. They're made right here in the USA and designed to work with all Roadmaster mounting brackets with quick-disconnects.
These safety cables are aircraft tight galvanized steel and they're going to feature the drop-forged steel hooks that are going to have safety latches. These are going to be spring loaded to prevent accidental disconnecting. Now the cables are going to have a nice vinyl coating on them. That's really going to help prevent scratching and chipping of your tow bars. The cables easily connect to the anchor brackets by inserting the ball ends through the diagonal slots and then pulling them down into the side. Now, your anchor brackets are going to be the brackets that connect to the quick-disconnects.
Anchor brackets are sold separately and you can find them right here at eTrailer dot com. Now, when connecting your cables to the tow vehicle, we do recommend that you cross the cables below the hitch. That's going to create a cradle, so in the event of a separation, the cables will help in preventing the tow bar from striking the ground.
