These heavy-duty crossbars are built from aluminum, giving you the strength you need for serious hauling. With a 220-lb weight capacity, they’re ready for contractor gear, kayaks, canoes, or camping setups. The sturdy build keeps everything steady on long drives and rough roads while staying light enough to handle easily during install or removal.
Each square bar has a top channel that works with Rhino-Rack Heavy Duty accessories like ladder rollers, load stops, and eyebolts. The rubber strips inside those channels keep your gear cushioned and help prevent slipping. It’s a simple setup that locks in your load so it stays where it should, even when the road doesn’t stay smooth.
Once the rack is installed, lockable cover plates on the legs keep it firmly attached to your roof. You can park at a trailhead or overnight stop knowing the rack is secured to your vehicle. It’s a straightforward way to protect your investment without adding extra steps every time you load up.
Every part of this setup is made for years of use. The crossbars come with a limited lifetime warranty, the legs have a 5-year limited warranty, and the fit kit has its own limited lifetime coverage. That kind of backing gives confidence that the system will keep doing its job trip after trip.
