All right today is a 2013 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Cab. We're going to install part number Wt84697. This is a Weathertech side window air deflectors with dark tinting. This covers front and back doors. All right to install, we'll make sure our window is out of the way. We need to pull out this little corner right here. There's a small piece of foam that's inside here that we have to remove.
It helps to start on this side of the corner and pull down. Here it is. It's really hard to see. It took me a moment to find it the first time. Okay, we'll go ahead and put this back into place.
It looks kind of a pain, but it's actually easier than it looks. Now, we go ahead and put our air deflector into place. This edge fits on the outside of the weatherstrip. It's easy to get tucked in, so just keep an eye on it, and then work your way in, up, and around. We'll get it started here as well, and just work it in. Make sure it's pushed in all the way up towards the top.
Now, with your window visors in place, use this tool to work it up behind the vent visor and the weather seal to help work it in place. Then, we'll go ahead and roll our window up. Go ahead and slowly roll it up in little increments at a time. Make sure that it doesn't bind up. All right, now we'll slowly work it into place until it's fully seated. Now, the next step is easy. You need to leave this outside for 48 hours in the bright sunlight.
The wind deflector will mold to the window and it won't bind anymore. Now, this is the visor for the rear on the driver's side. This is a lot simpler. First, we'll need to clean out the inside track with some rubbing alcohol, but we're going to clean out this inside edge here. We'll go ahead and pull back the cover for your adhesive and then we'll just go ahead and just slide this in position. I like to work in a corner first, then pushing inside to make as little contact as possible with the adhesive to push it into place. Go ahead and push up and that way it goes all the way. Then, when we roll up a window, our adhesive will stick to the inside edge and the window will do the work for us, pushing the adhesive. That'll finish it for part number Wt84697 from Weathertech. The side window air deflectors on our 2013 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Cab. .
