I have a 2019 F350 with 8 foot bed and 21” hi bed height. My Curt Q20 lets the trailer hit the rails on occasion. Need 30K capacity hitch. What do you recommend

Hey Satran. The tallest 5th wheel hitch we have with a 30,000 lbs capacity is the Reese M5 item # RP68FR. This fits the Ford factory puck system and has three adjustable heights of 14", 16", and 18".

The B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ford Super Duty Prep Package item # BWRVK3305, you were looking at, has hitch height adjustments of 16-3/4" - 18-3/4". It also mounts to the Ford factory puck system, however it only has a 25,000 lbs capacity.

Hey Satran, what ended up working for your F-350—did the Reese M5 give you the extra clearance you needed between the trailer and bed rails? Your update could make it easier for others trying to solve the same clearance issue.

@JerredHWe bought the BW. It is taller to clear the bed rail and way easier to use than our other hitch. The quality seems superior as well. Too bad we didn’t buy the BW first!
