Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Lippert footpad for your standard fifth wheel landing gear. Now this is a replacement landing gear footpad for a fifth wheel trailer. It is obviously designed to replace a worn, bent, or damaged original footpad and restore the stability and support that the trailer's landing gear is supposed to give you. So this is made specifically to work with standard Lippert fifth wheel landing gear jacks. So this is a direct replacement for many common setups.
Once installed, it's gonna give you a solid base under that landing gear, helping to keep the trailer stable during setup, parking, and leveling. Let me give you some measurements here. I'm gonna find my ruler. Looking at the overall let's call this length. Right at eight inches.
The overall width here at the widest point, right at six inches. And this does have a pin slot that's about one and a half inches wide. The footpad, as you heard, is constructed from durable steel giving it the strength needed to handle the weight and demands of regular trailer use. Installation's gonna be pretty straightforward. It can be typically completed as a simple DIY project without any specialized tools.
And you're gonna get everything that you see here. The footpad, the clevis pin, and bridge clip. So you're gonna be up and running in no time. I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. Again, my name's Andy.
Thanks for joining me.
