  When the Curt RV Bumper hitch part # E-100 is installed on the rear bumper of a trailer it's going to add right at 2-1/2 inches to the bottom of the bumper. So your current ground clearance would get reduced by that much. That said, there isn't a stated required ground clearance with this hitch as that will vary quite a bit depending on several factors like the distance between the rear bumper and the rear axle of the trailer and what type of elevation changes you'd be traveling on.
