by:

Fit like a glove with no vibration. Couldn't be happier.

by:

The hitch was shipped and USPS lost the hitch in Memphis. After 28 days from the first item was shipped, I finally received my hitch after multiple calls to etrailer and USPS. The hitch is great, the shipping through USPS is not.

by:

This hitch is easy to Sam and is a rugged unit

by:

Looks great, easy installation

by:

Perfect fit. Very solid.

by:

I hate to admit that the hitch has not moved one inch from where it was installed. Of course that may be entirely because the trailer it's mounted on has not either... I have no doubt it will perform perfectly when called upon to tow the the small aluminum row boat that will be attached to it. Thanks for the follow up and we'll be sure to keep you all informed of future adventures. RTC, Micheal/China Syndrome survivor.

by:

Well made, excellent product.

by:

Bought it for a heavier hitch for my 2000 Polaris Ranger 6x6 and it worked excellent. Just one minor adjustment and it fit like a glove. etrailer is the way to go, will be buying more from them for my new to me 2009 Ford E350 ambulance that I will be using as a tow vehicle for my travel trailer.

by:

Works great, tow my utility trailer with polaris razor behind my travel trailer

by:

A quality bit of kit. My only problem is the burly box steel bumper on my 1990 LJ78 Land Cruiser is 2" X 4 1/8", apparently, not 2" X 4". So the nice bolts and nuts included in the package don't quite go through the holes at the top. I had to substitute thinner eye bolts. I'm pulling a very light canoe trailer with this, so I'm not worried about the loss in strength. If you have a real cross frame member for a bumper, as I do this is an inexpensive light towing solution. I would have rated it excellent if the bolt holes were somehow adjustable up and down.

by:

We had an interesting choice to make with our RV. We could either take the cargo carrier or the bikes. We wanted both, of course, and this hitch gave us that option.
We always check with etrailer.com first for any parts they might have to meet our travel needs.

by:

Very nice specialty receiver for 2" Reese Hitch. Fits on 4" x 2" bumper stock - dimensions are spot on. Finish on surface and edges is smooth...nothing to catch or "bite" during installation!

Thank you

by:

etrailer makes ordering parts very easy - always impressed with customer service I get.

The bumper hitch is sturdy, and fit my 2" x 4" trailer bumper perfectly. it is a well built product and is very stable on the bumper.

by:

Wrong product - and no help from etrailer.com in rectifying the situation! I don't think anyone could use this product, and it's not clear enough in the information that it's for a tiny bumper - not a regular RV bumper.

by:

Just received this product, so haven't really used it yet. But wow, it is really built well. I looked at numerous similar products, and am really happy with my choice. Should give us years of great service. May be overkill for a bike rack on the back of our Takena Trailer, but will most assuredly give us peace of mind on our long road trips.

by:

Very good quality but I had to send back as I ordered the wrong bumper size. They were very helpful with making the return easy. I was sent a shipping label.by text and sent it back. Just waiting for my refund. All items I have bought have been of good quality and not high priced. Very Happy.

by:

Very sturdy. We use it to hold a bike rack on our trailer.

by:

Used for a rear hitch on my 5th wheel to tow the jet ski trailer. Very sturdy.

by:

The hitch came on time. Etrailer stayed in touch with me. I am sure it will work great for pulling my flat bottom boat. Have to wait for winter to get over with.

by:

5 Star Service every time. I put my order in yesterday before noon and it was on my doorstep today before noon. I will recommend etrailer to everyone!!! Thanks Again!!!!

by:

Well made, easy installation, fast delivery.
Simple
instructions to follow no drilling required.

Great folks to do business with, can not go wrong using this company.

by:

Arrived in a timely fashion. Even sturdier than I had expected. Fits my trailer bumper well. I am very satisfied with this product.

by:

The bumper hitch was what I was exactly looking for. Easy mount to the bumper.

by:

Easy to install and well built. Bigger than I needed to mount our current bike rack to our Camp Lite 11FK, but works great and it was simple.

by:

video information was a big help, it eliminated guesswork on my application. fit & finish were excellent & my parts arrived on time.
I will buy from etrailer again.

  • Does RV Trailer Hitch for 4" x 2" Bumper Allow Towing
You can use the Curt RV Bumper Hitch # C19101 to tow your trailer and Polaris Razor, but you do need to ensure you are within a number of capacities. The hitch itself has a 3,500 lb towing capacity and 350 lb tongue weight capacity so your trailer needs to fall within those numbers. Additionally, you need to contact the manufacturer of your toy hauler to ensure the bumper can handle towing as it may not be designed for that much stress. This could lead to a very dangerous situation for...

  • Fitment of Curt RV Bumper Hitch for Jayco Jayfeather Travel Trailer
The Curt RV Bumper Hitch, # C19101 will fit 4 x 2 Inch RV bumpers. We do not have the ability to pull OEM build sheets and identify what part numbers where used when constructing your travel trailer. But if you have a 4 x 2 inch bumper this will fit. If you have a 4 x4 inch bumper, you will want to select the Curt RV Bumper Trailer Hitch, # E-100.

  • Trailer Hitch Options for a Casita Travel Trailer
I did some research on the Casita travel trailers and after speaking with Casita, I found that the bumper on the Casita travel trailers were not designed to support any additional weight due to its construction. They also said they do not recommend mounting a hitch or any other type of accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier on the bumper. One option that may work for you is a frame mount trailer hitch such as the Curt Adjustable Width Hitch, # 13703. This is a universal RV style...

The Curt RV Bumper Hitch # C19101 you mentioned is designed to fit 2" x 4" RV bumpers, and will unfortunately not fit your 4" x 4" bumper. Instead, you're going to want to use the Curt RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # E-100 which will fit your 4" x 4" RV bumper.

  • Hitch and Bike Rack Recommended for Toy Hauler
We do offer some travel trailer receiver hitches, the hitch you'll need will depend on the shape and the distance apart your toy hauler frame members are. The most versatile fit we offer is the Curt Adjustable width trailer hitch receiver, part # 13703. This hitch fits frame members that are between 22 and 72 inches apart and is compatible with box, C-channel, or I-beam frames. The hitch has a 350 lb tongue weight capacity, tongue weight is the maximum amount of weight that can be hung...

  • Availability of Trailer Hitch to Fit Bumper of 2016 1706 Viking
Go look at the bumper you have at the rear of your 2016 1706 Viking. What are the dimensions of it? Is the bumper welded all the way around or is there an open side? If there is an open side you have a C-channel bumper which the # C19101 would not fit. It would need to be a 2 inch wide by 4 inch tall continuously welded bumper for this hitch to fit. If instead it is 4 inch by 4 inch you would want the part # E-100.

Most bumpers on campers/RVs are not reinforced enough to handle any towing weight. The Curt RV Bumper Hitch - 2" Item # C19101 would definitely bolt on but that kind of weight would most likely rip your bumper off. I recommend using the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver - 18"-51" Wide - 2" Drop - Class III - 2" Item # C13701 as it has a 500lbs weight capacity. If the distance between your frame is larger than 51" then the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to...

The Curt RV Bumper Hitch, # C19101 is for RV bumper use only and fits 2" x 4" RV bumpers. This will require a customized wiring job as you will probably need to remove interior trim panels to access the taillight wiring of your 5th wheel to evaluate what is the best route. You can also make contact with the OEM and request guidance for best route. Once you find a way into the wiring, simply splice in the 4-Pole 60" Long Vehicle End (Includes 4 wire taps) Item # 18002. The Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13703 isn't a fit for every trailer, it will work on some and others it won't due to items installed on the trailer such as stabilizer jacks, water tanks etc. Please note, this can differ from trailer to trailer so we always recommend looking at the undercarriage prior to purchase to ensure compatibility. • Solution for Transporting Bikes While Towing Pop-Up Camper
I may have a solution for you, however we do not have a bumper mount hitch receiver available that is designed to fit the 4-1/4 x 1-3/4 inch bumper on your camper. It's also very possible that the bumper on your Fleetwood Cheyenne Pop-Up Camper is not rated for use with a hitch (you can check with Fleetwood to be sure), so your best option may actually be to still use your bike rack on your SUV. Another consideration you would need to note is that only some bike racks are tested and rated...

  • Mounting Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch on Puma Ultra Lite Camper
I'm attaching the installation video for the Adjustable Width Hitch # 13703 to this answer, but as you can see at about 5:00 into the video, the side plates of the hitch are going to sit directly on the ledges of your I or C beams of the frame of the trailer. For that reason, you're not going to be able to mount it lower than those plates are going to sit. I don't know if the black water tank will come into play as much as I would worry about the stabilizer jacks being the part that keeps...

I verified with Curt that the RV Bumper Hitch # C19101 can be used on a 2 by 2 inch bumper. Since you're not going to be using the hitch for towing you'll also need the support strap # 18050. It's required for all non-trailer loads on the hitch per Curt's warranty.

This would be only option you'd have but also it is a really great option that does the job well.
