Today we're going to look at the Valterra recessed water inlet for RVs with the white metal flange. This part will conform with federal and state laws for drinking water fixtures. It is a lead-free design. As I mentioned, the flange on this is actually a white metal flange with a nice powder coat paint over it. The connection on the back is a 0.5 inch female pipe thread inside brass connection. On the inside is a brass check valve.
On the outer portion, you can see it has a nice press-in dust plug to keep any dust or dirt from getting in there. It has a garden hose swivel-type fitting with the gripper, and you can see the screen in there also helps keep out any bad elements. This part does come with the male nipple, and if needed, you can change the female type threads to a male connection. Everything shown here is included. It comes with the water inlet itself. It comes with the insulation screws, insulation putty tape, a pipe thread tape for making your connections on the threaded portions, and the male nipple, as I mentioned. A few dimensions on this I want to give you: The overall diameter edge to edge is going to be right at 4.5 inches.
The cut out diameter for this section to fit recessed in would be 3.5 inches. That should do it for the review on the Valterra recessed water inlet for RVs with the white metal flange.
Looks good!
