It is physically the same size and the mounting screw hole pattern is the same as my original. Nice that the installation tape was included. Tried to swap the new lock with my old one but it wouldn’t work as it is a different length. The included phillips screw heads are a larger diameter than the original square drive screws which prevented the door from closing. Ended up using the old screws, temporarily. Disappointed with the plastic, not brass, city fill connection as it is large and awkward to turn in the tight space. Even more disappointed to find it for less than half of what I paid from another seller. Will look for a different option. I do not recommend this product.

I am sorry that the screws did not work out for you. These tend to be a universal fit.

Great product. However I wish it was made a little sturdy. This is my second access door set up as when installing the first one the pipe I had fasten on the inside of my RV twisted and broke off the shore water supply. Be careful as any stress on these parts will cause the plastic to break. Other than that, it’s a good product.

I’m still in the build stage so it hasn’t been tested out on the road. However, check back in about 6 months and I’ll give an updated review.

I'm
disapointed that the hose hookup was all plastic and not brass. It may work fine but not what I expected. Service was great!

  • Locking Water Hatch Compatibility with Current Cutout on 2018 Keystone Bullet
For your 2018 Keystone Bullet, I don't know what cutout dimension is behind the 7-1/2 by 5-1/4 inch mounting of the # A01-2001VP. The lockable cover that replaces this is the Valterra City Water Inlet and Lockable Hatch for RVs - Plastic - White - Gravity Fill # A01-2004VP. This system has overall dimensions of 7-5/8" wide x 6-1/2" high but it only requires a cutout of 5-7/8 inches by 4-3/4 inches so enlarging the opening may not be necessary.

  • Lockable Cover for 2018 Keystone Bullet Crossfire Water Inlet
We have one smaller locking hatch than the Valterra City Water Inlet and Lockable Hatch # A01-2004VP which fits rough opening cutouts of 5-7/8" wide x 4-3/4" high. It is the Valterra Universal Inlet and Lockable Hatch # A01-2002VP. It has overall dimensions of 6" wide x 6-1/2" high and fits both 4-1/4" wide x 4-3/4" high and 4" wide x 3" high cutout openings. If that doesn't work, can you give me the dimensions of the rough opening you are looking to fit? We may need to get more...

  • How to Determine Water Hatch Inlet for RV
While we do have replacement water hatch inlets available (but not gas hatches), there are none for specific RVs so we wouldn't know if they are the same as newer models. In order to determine the correct water inlet you just need to know your water line and cut out size. For example, if it was a city water inlet and you had a 1/2" MPT tank connection and your cut out was 5-7/8" wide x 4-3/4" high you would use the Valterra City Water Inlet and Lockable Hatch for RVs # A01-2004VP. • What Kind Of Hose To Use With The Gravity Fill Connection On The A01-2004VP
For the gravity fill inlet on the # A01-2004VP you can use really any flexible 1-1/4" diameter (or smaller) hose. That is, as long as it is made of non-toxic plastic that is safe for drinking water. Unfortunately, we no longer carry any hoses with a 1-1/4" diameter. I was able to find a picture showing an example of a compatible 1-1/4" hose which I have included below. I imagine you could find something like this at a local hardware store or plumbing supply store.

  • Check Valve for Valterra City Water Inlet # A01-2004VP
We have check valves like the part # CAM23303 which will fit the 1/2 inch diameter fitting of the Valterra City Water Inlet and Lockable Hatch for RVs # A01-2004VP but it does not come with a check valve.

  • Does the Water Inlet Panel # A01-2001VP Fit a 2000 Chinook?
While we did provide the cutout dimensions for that neighbor that you are referring to, we did not hear back from them to confirm whether the Valterra City Water Inlet for RVs in White # A01-2001VP fit their 2000 Chinook. The size you need truly depends on your cutout. If you have a 5-1/2" x 3-1/2" cutout for your inlet panel, these models fit what you have. Like the previous answer, you may have to re-route your hoses to match your inlet depending on your city water inlet's position. As...

  • Replacing Water Inlet Check Valve For a 2003 Bigfoot 30MH27DSL Motorhome
We do have the B&B RV Water Center # BM58MR which is similar to the Valterra # A01-2004VP unit you found. It does have the brass check valve on the city water connection. The Check Valve # P23402LFVP you found is designed to attach in line with 1/2" female and male pipe thread connections. It does not have a method for attaching it to a water inlet door.
