Installation headaches are a thing of the past! This product conveniently includes everything you need—putty, thread tape, and hardware—for a seamless setup. Even first-time installers find it a breeze, and the black plastic construction ensures it'll blend right in. Just fit it into place, and you’re good to go!

With an overall dimension of 7-1/2" wide x 5-1/4" tall, it offers a perfect fit, especially if you are upgrading from a worn or failed part. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra city water and gravity fill inlet for RV's. This will work as an addition so, if you want to add one of these you can or if you want to use it as a replacement you can definitely do that as well. Located right here is going to be the gravity fill connection. Nice threaded cap with a tether. That's included to make sure you don't misplace or lose that. That's really nice design. Again, that's the gravity fill connection.
Right here's going to be the city water connection for the fresh water supply. It's got the nice threader connector on there that threads onto the water hose. It does feature appropriate seals for leak proof performance and it's going to come with this rubber push in plug. Creates a nice tight solid seal on there and it's a tight fit. That's included as well.
Located right here's going to be your air vent. This is going to let you know when the tank is full and that allows air to escape from the tank to keep pressure from building up in the fresh water tank. That's going to have a nice wire mesh screen that protects the connection and keeps unwanted items out. Again, the air vents located right there. Real quick we're going to take a look at the overall dimensions. Going this direction from edge to edge we're looking at a measurement of around 7 1/2 inches.
Going this direction edge to edge we're looking at a measurement of about 5 1/4 of an inch. You'll see on the back here that we do have a small recessed area. Going this direction that's going to give us a measurement of about 5 3/4 of an inch wide. Going this direction it's going to be about 3 1/2 inches tall. You'll notice that we have the mount holes that go around the entire perimeter of the unit. From the center of this hole to the center of this hole that's going to have a separation of about 4 9/16 of an inch.
Going across this direction center on center it's going to be a little bit closer to 6 13/16 of an inch. Here on the back you're going to notice that it has the 1/2 inch male pipe thread fitting. This connects to the RV plumbing connection for fresh water and you're going to have the inch and 1/4 barbed connection that connects to the RV plumbing for the gravity fill. Then you're going to have your 1/2 inch air valve connection. It does come with the putty tape, pipe thread tape, and the necessary screws to get it installed. The screw heads are painted to match the color of the hatch. Again the mount holes go around the perimeter of the mounting flange and the housing is constructed of a nice strong durable plastic construction that's black in color. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra city water and gravity fill inlet for RV's. .
