Uneven ground or soft terrain isn’t a problem with these 6-step TorkLift GlowSteps. The built-in landing gear creates a solid connection from the bottom step to the ground, keeping the stairs steady and level every time. Large rectangular footplates prevent sinking, while the adjustable legs fine-tune the height to match uneven surfaces. With a 325 lb weight capacity and 7-1/2" drop/rise, each step feels solid and sure underfoot.
Climbing in or out after dark feels safer thanks to glow tape that lights up each step without wiring or batteries. It only takes 5 minutes of light exposure to glow for up to 10 hours, giving you visible, well-defined footing all night long. The SureGrip tread built into each 20" wide x 8" deep step keeps your shoes from slipping, even in wet weather.
These steps are built from aircraft-grade aluminum with stainless steel hinges, so they’re both tough and light. At roughly 40 lbs, they’re easy to move when needed, yet the design feels sturdy enough for everyday use. The stainless steel construction resists rust, and the scissor action folds smoothly for compact storage once you’re packed up.
Unlike riveted connections, these steps use bushing bearings for smooth action and longer life. Each hinge is bolted together, letting you add or remove individual steps if your setup changes later. The 21-1/2" wide mounting bracket gives a secure fit for entry heights between 46-1/2" and 58", so the stairs extend just right for tall setups while staying solid and reliable.

Still great, can’t say enough on how well built they are. Only thing I added is so reflective tape on the sides and front so if I have them down at a rest stop they can be seen
