Hello neighbors. Welcome back. I'm Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the universal mounting bracket for the torque lift glow steps scissor steps. Now, this is just one option of what those steps could possibly look like. Again, this is a universal mounting bracket.
It's gonna mount your torque lift, glow steps. Again, those steps are sold separately and they mount simply to your camper, rv, or trailer. Now this nice universal design will attach to almost any surface out there. It's 20 inches wide here on the ends of the bracket. One inch tall and three eighths of an inch thick on the thickness.
Folks, you get the fish wire, you get all the nuts, bolts hardware, lock washers, spacer blocks, everything is a nice lightweight, aluminum, heavy duty stainless steel hardware. It's all gonna be rust resistant, corrosion resistant. Nice addition to any torque lift glow step. Well folks, that's gonna do it for our look today at this universal mounting bracket. Bought this to convert the the semi-permanent installation version of the TorkLift GlowSteps to allow easier removal of the steps on my custom expedition camper. I had to drill and tap the anchor bolts, and hope it would be strong enough -- and it is! Works perfectly.
I took away one star because I'm not sure if some parts were missing , if the instructions were wrong or user error. Where the steps connect to the bracket, the instructions look like there should be a long straight bars at the top to connect the two. I ended up reversing the "bent" bars, and the finish isn't perfect but it will suffice.
Mounting bracket fit perfect and was easy to install
Order was shipped quickly. The same evening in fact. The only thing slow was the USPS.
Way too expensive
Part was out of stock but etrailer was very responsive on keeping me updated on the delivery date.
