Great service on delivery. Thank you. Screws fit old broken light perfectly. Wire grommet hole is 3 cm off center (old light had center hole), so had to relocate to match hole in sidewall. If you only have a hot coming thru sidewall, then you have to figure a way to connect ground to chassis. Other than that, good.

Outside dimensions were the same as old one, but inside was different. It has been a year, but as I remember, I had to drill some holes and rewire in order to match the wires coming out of the camper. Overall, happy with it.

by:

This was just what I needed. Identical to the broken one on my camper except that the light socket was on the right side instead of the left. I just had to reroute the wires through a new wire path which was accomplished with a 3/8" drill bit and a utility knife. Other than that, it mounted right up to the holes that were already there. Just what I was looking for. Great product.
Thanks for having it in stock.

Very nice lights, great quality, great price, excellent service, as usual! Will work great on our '96 Coachmen project camper for porch & front service light.

by:

great product, exact replacement for my factory utility light over my water connections. Fast shipping, always great customer service from Etrailer!

by:

This was a perfect replacement for the front light on my hard-sided pop up. Ordering was quick and easy, and the product installed quickly and worked like a charm. Delivered on schedule in perfect shape.

by:

We couldn't be happier with the quality and customer service we received

by:

If I had actually received my order I might be able to a review. 14 days and waiting

by:

Nice outside light, especially if you replace the bulb with and LED bulb. There wasn't enough "room" behind the metal back plate for wiring, so I drilled a hole in it and connected the RV & light wires inside. Works fine.

Being an outside light it doesnt get a lot of use, but it still works just fine.

always great service.

I ordered the wrong replacements (right color but no on/off switch) .They are courtesy lights for the outside of my horse trailer and need to be "off" when I am hauling at night.

Called the 800# and and spoke to Bryan who care of sending me the correct lights and advised me on how to return the incorrect lights. (I thought I needed a packing slip to return, but one was not included in the package). Did not need a packing slip, so I mailed back the wrong lights the next day.

My correct replacements arrived yesterday and they are perfect.

etrailer.com is wonderful. The website is user friendly, and the videos on many of the products clarify questions like how to install as well as what the item looks like (from all sides). The staff is friendly, too.

We "inherited" a 1982 Jayco JayCardinal popup trailer, a hand-me-down from my secretary & her husband. It's in great shape, but I've been fixing little things that had fallen into disrepair; they haven't used the popup for 6-8 years. Noticed that the porch light was broken & etrailer.com had the best price online for a replacement. It arrived 3 days early in perfect condition. Haven't wired it in yet, but I compared it with the original still on the popup & it's the same. Will get it in right away as we are anxious to take our "new" popup camping this summer! Thanks etrailer!

by:

Exact replacement! Great customer service. Package arrived in timely manner. Lens was damaged in shipment; contacted customer service and replacement was sent on the same day.
Thanks again to Anna and Ashley!!

I purchased what I thought was a Optronics RVPL3C but the measurements are not what is shown on the Optronics site. This one is smaller. So I need to find one that is the right size for my Casita. Strangely there is no brand name or model number on any of the ones that I have old or just purchased. That never helps.

The size information listed on Optronics site is incorrect. The light, at its widest point, is 6 inches.

Prompt and exactly what I wanted

Doing just fine.

by:

I used these to replace the 5 existing lights on the outside of my horse trailer. These seemed to be a direct replacement for the 10 year old lights that came with the trailer. The screw holes all lined up and replacement was a pretty quick job. I only wish the back of the light was solid or sealed to make it a little more weatherproof.

by:

Exactly what I ordered and was easy to install.

by:

Great product order for the front of my camper

by:

I ordered this light to replace one on my trailer and it is installed and working great. The delivery time for this light was almost as fast as going to the store and picking it up.

by:

This utility light was the right fit for a replacement in the horse trailer, thank you for your product pictures and correct product information to help make the right selection.

by:

I will not install the light until next Spring, but by all accounts it will be perfect. 12v leads are plenty long, different options for mounting are available. Is replacement for rear utility light on an 06 16' Scamp Camp Trailer. Very fast delivery. If need be, I will order from this outfit again!

by:

Very prompt service, excellent shipping and communication from the sales team. I ordered multiple items at once and the staff bundled them all in one shipment and had them shipped the same day I ordered. Each product was exactly what I needed and as research will show, they have the best prices on the web. Couple that with free shipping and it's impossible to not recommend this company to all. Thanks etrailer staff!!

by:

As always etrailer shipped rapidly and the item was well packaged. The light itself got downgraded a star solely because the metal backing plate is not securely fastened to the plastic body which required a little juggling while on my ladder to keep everything assembled while I mounted it. It works as advertised once wired up and mounted. Hey it is less than ten bucks so certainly not a disqualifier!

by:

Light came without screws or gasket. Mounted above trailer propane tanks, light illuminates the back of my pick-up as well as trailer hitch and utilities. Very happy with the results.

  • Choosing a Trailer Porch Light That is Weather Resistant
The Bargman Porch/Utility Light # 3478503 that you referenced is not actually specified as being weather-resistant, but the Optronics # RVPL3C does offer similar construction that provides all-weather protection against corrosion, making it suitable as an exterior light. Both lights use the same mounting arrangement and so they are fully compatible.

  • Dimensions of Replacement Lens for Bargman Series 78 Porch/Utility Light
The Bargman Replacement Lens for Bargman Porch Or Utility Light # 30-78-021 measures 5-1/4 inches long x slightly over 2-1/4 or 2-5/16 inches wide. I have attached a photo showing these measurements. Without knowing the manufacturer of the utility light, the best solution I can provide is a new light assembly. I have attached a link with all of our rectangular, white, trailer utility lights for you. Our most popular utility light is the Optronics RV Rectangular Porch and Utility Light...

  • Replacement for Porch Light on Haulmark Trailer
I'm not sure which brand light you have there, or the dimensions, but it looks a lot like the Diamond # DG52728VP. This light measures 6" long x 3-1/2" tall x 2" deep. It uses the replacement lens # VAL97CR. We also have the Optronics # RVPL3C with the same dimensions. If it is not one of these brands I can't confirm if the lens will fit or not. Assuming the size of the light matches, you could use either one for a total replacement.

  • Can the RV Porch and Utility Light be Used on a Camper Shell for Side Illumination for Sled Dogs
The RV Porch and Utility Light, # RVPL3C, would definitely be able to handle normal highway speeds, if mounted correctly, but a car wash might be a different story. These lights were designed for RVs and they are not normally ran through car washes. If the car wash were a touch-less model then you should be fine, but a car wash with the mops that twirl would most likely cause an issue with the lights protruding from the side of the shell. Another option may be to install a flush mounted...

  • Recommended Small Light Assembly for Exterior Use on RV
The Optronics RV Courtesy Light # 2407764B referenced in your question is intended for interior use because it does not have a waterproof construction. This particular courtesy light is not available in an exterior model, but I may have a solution for you. • Recommended Interior Lights for Utility Van
I do have a solution for you for interior lights for your utility van but the Optronics # MC42RB Double Bullseye Trailer Clearance Light does not have a clear lens available.
