Yes, the Thule Hideaway Awning # TH490011 is a direct bolt on awning that will mount directly to the side of your 2016 Forest River R-Pod Travel Trailer.

This awning measures in at 9' 10" Long, 8' Wide, includes all the needed hardware for installation, and will work great for your Forest River R-Pod trailer.

Hey Bryce. I have a 2016 r -pod 182g with the dome that has railing system that it slides into, in your other posts you said a Thule awning would bolt right to it? Could you explain on how with that channel being on. Thanks Brian

@BrianM Hey, Brian. Are you referring to the R-Dome? If so, are you wanting to remove that and in place use a Thule Hideaway? Let me know!

@GwendolynY Yes I have the rpod dome that I use, but I want the Thule that I can retract out and put up the poles. I would like to have a 10’ length and there is two railings top and bottom that are screwed into the aluminum frame that the dome goes threw,

@Brian The Thule Hideaway awning would just need to be mounted on the side of your R-Pod. I checked with Thule and they don't have any sort of adapters if you were wanting to attach the awning to the existing rails. You most likely will have to remove the rails to be able to install the Hideaway.
