Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Thule HideAway Awning Adapter for the Dodge ProMaster Cargo Vans. Now this adapter will let you mount your Thule HideAway Awning directly to the wall of your Dodge ProMaster Cargo Van. It will include everything shown here on the table, the three angled steel brackets, the three steel spacer plates, and then the three aluminum awning plates, comes with all the mounting hardware you need, and a nice set of instructions that'll describe how this all goes together. Now the steel and the aluminum construction is very strong and durable. But that should do it for the review on the Thule HideAway Awning Adapter for the Dodge ProMaster Cargo Van.

The awning is working fine. One issue, the awning rolls from the bottom of the roller. Thus, it is not self cleaning and is difficult to clean or dry. This is the opposite function from most RV awnings

Since your Winnebago Solis 59P has a pop top, instead of using the Dodge ProMaster Van Adapter for Thule HideAway Awning # TH301650 with the Thule HideAway Awning for ProMaster or Sprinter # TH620001, I recommend using the: -Thule HideAway Awning Adapter for Dodge ProMaster Cargo Van # TH308960 instead. This kit will allow you to mount the Thule Hideaway awning directly to the side of your camper van, which I believe will work better with your setup, however this kit is not a no-drill kit.

Thule Hideaway Awning Brackets to Fit 2019 Ram Promaster Factory Mounting Points
In order to install the Thule Hideaway adapter, part # TH308960, on your 2019 Ram ProMaster 2500 you need to drill into the roof. It doesn't fit into the factory mounting points. Instead part # TH301650 is what you're looking for. It does fit into the factory mounting points on the roof without drilling. I've attached pictures from the install details that may make it easier to see how they mount.

Hey Michael! You can use the Thule HideAway Awning on your 2024 Winnebago Solis 59PX. However, you can't use the top mount brackets because of the pop-top. What you will need instead is the Thule HideAway Awning Adapter for Dodge ProMaster Cargo Van - Wall Mount # TH308960. This will mount it on the side above your door and requires drilling for installation. You can choose between the 8' Long x 10' 8" Wide # TH64WJ or the 8' Long x 12' 3" Wide # TH64WJ for the awning. The Thule HideAway Awning Adapter # TH308960 you have is designed for "wall mounted" Thule Hideaway awnings, but it looks like you have a "roof mounted" version so you need the mounting bracket # TH301650 instead to get this mounted to your 2022 Ram ProMaster 3500. The roof mounted bracket looks a little different because it mounts at a slightly different angle - hope this helps!

I recently visited an RV show where they had an RV with the same style roof as your 2022 Winnebago Solis 59PX on display. It had an awning like the Thule HideAway Awning # TH490011 attached and the brackets used looked custom made by the RV manufacturer. The mounts were similar to the Thule HideAway Awning Adapter # TH308960 as they do get drilled into the van. Be sure to check with your Winnebago dealer as well as I do see that they offered it with an awning from Carefree of Colorado.

You would have to custom fabricate some brackets to either bolt through the rails of the rack or clamp to them. The Thule HideAway Awning # TH620001 you were looking at along with the wall mount kit # TH308960 is going to be the best fit for your camper.
