Speaker 1: Today, we're gonna take a look at the replacement breakaway switch for the Titan brake right electric over hydraulic actuators. Now this part is designed to fit the Titan brake right electric over hydraulic brake actuators, part number T4813100 and T4822500. The breakaway switch will wire into your trailer's brake system to provide peace of mind. Basically what happens is if the trailer becomes uncoupled, the cord attached to your tow vehicle will pull the pin from the switch, activating your trailer's brakes. The cable right here is a high strength cable made of woven steel. The case where the switch is is a durable reinforced nylon case that's corrosion resistant, has a rust proof nylon pin assembly, and if you notice, has a metal weld-on tab for installing it.
The cable length is 4' and the wire length is also 4', so basically, when you got to attach this, what you will do is this wire end right here, this will attach to the tow vehicle. Then over on this end, the two black wires, these attach to the power supply the breakout foot from the trailer brakes.They're both black wire, so either wire can be used for either function. But that should do it for the review on the replacement breakaway switch for Titan brake right electric over hydraulic actuators.

No issues thus far.. performing as expected
I rebuilt a 4 wheel trailer, brakes, hubs and one axle repair. All the parts I purchased fit as promised. After a year I have had no problems. Thanks
Kind of tough to rate as the only "real" test is if it operates in a breakaway and hopefully that never happens. Did verify that the switch works. Build quality is good.
Excellent product, doesn't feel cheap. Easy to replace with just a few simple electrical tools/parts. Nothing technical, just need to trim wires and add a connector or two. Assuming the old one is intact, just need to copy how it is installed.

works like OEM? Fingers crossed havnt had to find out if it works in action.Only test it periodically with tires in the air when adjusting brakes.
Great replacement parts. Always easy to find what I need at etrailer.com I put disc brakes on my 5th wheel last year. I needed to pull the brakeaway cable to activate the pump to bleed the brakes. It was stuck. 9 years and never used it. It was froze up. Found part on etrailer site and had it within a few days. Test your parts especially your safety ones. Order from etrailer.com

Had to replace the breakaway switch, but only because the lanyard cable was crimpted. Totally my fault. Otherwise worked as advertised.
