The Replacement Breakaway Switch for Titan BrakeRite EHB # N65113 is designed for both an open and closed circuit determined by if the pin is in place or removed. When the pin is pulled, it is a closed circuit that will activate your trailer brakes. Whenever the plug of the switch is inserted the circuit is dead or open and then when the pin is removed the circuit is active or closed.
