I have a TAP system. Will this work if i simply cut off the old controller and splice this one on? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
Breakaway switches are pretty basic. There are a couple of metal contacts inside that are kept separated by the pin. When the pin is pulled out the contacts touch and complete the circuit from the breakaway battery to the brakes. So you can use an alternate switch such as # N65113 in place of the one you have and it will work well.
