Video Transcript for Maxtrax MKII Recovery Boards: The Breakdown

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the MAXTRAX MKII Recovery Boards in the red color. This is for a quantity of two boards. Now, these recovery boards will provide traction when your tires are bogged down in snow, sand, or mud. You can see they have these rows of traction teeth on the top, which provide a surface that your tires can grip onto to pull your vehicle out of a messy situation.

On the bottom, they have these lugs here. These lugs on the bottom will bite into the ground to give you a surefooted grip when you drop these down there. Now, the dimensions on this on each board is gonna be 45 inches long. The width, it's gonna be right at about 13 inches wide. And the overall height from the bottom to the very top of the teeth is about three inches tall.

Now, the weight per board is about 7-1/2 pounds. Now, I did wanna show you we're gonna zoom in and talk about a few features on this. It is a fiber reinforced nylon construction, makes these boards lightweight and strong. It is UV stable material so it doesn't fade or degrade in the sun. It is light enough to easily haul in and out of your vehicle, but it is also heavy duty enough to bear the full weight of the vehicle without breaking.

Also, if we flip it over to the underside, if you notice on the ends right here on both ends it says shovel and then there's an arrow pointing, you can actually use the ends of these boards as a shovel if you need it. If you notice the handles on the sides, they are nice built-in glove-friendly handles, let you easily pull the boards out of the sludge after use, and it easily comes with these leashes. There's two leashes in here. And these leashes, you can use those to also attach to the boards to help remove them. The keyholes, there's two here on this end, two on the opposite end.

Those keyholes allow you to mount to your vehicle or allow you to mount these boards to your vehicle using the MAXTRAX mounting pins or the rear wheel harness, which we do sell separately on website. And if you notice, these boards will nest together just like that. And then when you mount them on those pins, it'll hold those together, gives you a lot less space than it takes up. You can see these are a nice red color. Now, they're also available in many other colors. And this is for a quantity of two boards with the leashes.
