And, if we're towing a trailer, it's gonna keep all that debris off the trailer, as well. Our mud flaps are gonna be digitally contoured, so they're gonna fit all the body lines perfectly. You'll want to use the included bit that comes in the kit, and you can use the socket or a bit driver to pull out the center, but I'm threading it, and when you're unthreading it, you want to be careful, you don't want to push too hard, because that center will go back in, but, you want to unthread that screw.

Mud Flaps Questions and Answers

  • Preventing Exhaust from Melting Mudflaps of Rock Tamers # ERT00108
  • If you can install the Rock Tamers so that the flaps are not situated right in front of your exhaust pipe, they should work very well for you. However, if the flaps fall right in front of where your exhaust discharges, you will likely have the same problem. Using an exhaust tip to redirect the exhaust discharge downward would prevent future damage. The tip you need would depend on the diameter of your existing exhaust pipe. For 4 inch diameter tailpipe, you would use something like...

  • Exhaust Clearance When Using Rock Tamers Adjustable Mud Flap System # ERT00108
  • The Rock Tamers Adjustable Mud Flap System, part # ERT00108, offers height, width and angle adjustment to match a range of vehicles. Please note that there must be at least 1-inch of clearance between the back of the ball mount face and the trailer hitch receiver opening to fit the Rock Tamers mounting bracket assembly. (Please see the attached photo.) The mud flaps themselves measure 24 x 24 inches but their height can be reduced to maintain ground clearance by trimming along the pre-marked...

  • Fit of WeatherTech Mud Flaps on Ram Truck with Running Boards
  • Here's the lowdown on the fit, which I received directly from WeatherTech. The # WT110026-120026 will fit your truck if it has the factory add-on fender flares and running boards that DO NOT come within 2 inches of the wheel well. If they do come within 2 inches, the front mud flap will not fit, and you'd need to go with the rear # WT120026 flaps only. If you do not have the fender flares, and the running boards DO NOT come within 2 inches of the wheel wells, use part # WT110024-120024....

  • Recommended Mud Flaps for 2013 Ford F150
  • Assuming your F150 has the factory add-on fender flares, I would recommend the # HL57591 rear and # HL56591 front mud flaps. Although the Husky Liners mud flaps require some drilling for installation (see linked videos), they are a bit heavier than the WeatherTech flaps and in my opinion would be slightly better suited for a rural environment. Husky liners also offers flaps for the front and rear wheels, while WeatherTech is offered for the rear only. If you are only needing flaps for...

  • Best Cover and Mud Flaps for 2019 Rockwood Geo Pro G19FBS Travel Trailer
  • There are mud flaps that can work with your 2019 Rockwood Geo Pro Travel Trailer 19FBS though not the ones you referenced. Instead, I recommend checking out the Husky Liners Universal-Fit, Molded Mud Flaps # HL56261. These flaps, as with all flaps that would work with a trailer, will require drilling for them to fit. As for a cover that fits your '19 Rockwood Geo Pro 19FBS that will allow you to access it the best option is the Adco RV Cover w/ Tyre Gards for Travel Trailers # 290-34840....

  • Heavy-Duty Mud Flap Options for 2018 Ford F-150
  • If you really want serious protection from a mud flap I suggest using a hitch-mount type like the Rock Tamers # ERT00108 or the Access Rockstar # A1010061 or Rockstar 2XL # A10100622. Not only are these larger and more durable but since they install on a ball mount they are easily removed and they will not interfere with factory trim components like fender flares. Many of these hitch-mount mud flaps allow you to trim them to your preferred size for the most protection for a trailer. These...
