Question:

Can you advise if there are any kayak J-hooks that are confirmed to fit the Tracrac system cross bars? I know these bars a larger than most of the aero bars on market. Thanks.

There are indeed kayak carriers that fit the crossbars of the Thule TracRac TracONE Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Black # TH27000XTB or Silver # TH27000XT.

For the J-style, there are a pair of options from Thule, one of which fits directly into the channels on top of the crossbars, and the other which uses an adapter that allows it to mount in the channels. I verified with Thule that both of these options will fit the crossbars of the TracRac:

- Thule Hull-A-Port Aero Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs # TH849000

- Thule Hull-A-Port Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs # TH834 & Watersports Adapter # THXADAPT11

Both carriers have a hefty 75 lb capacity and come with tie-downs, with the differences being the Hull-A-Port Aero # TH849000 has locks, and an adapter is not required, so it's going to be a bit more secure and easier to use, but is also the more premium carrier so I wanted to give you a couple options. I have also added a photo a customer sent in of the Hull-A-Port Aero # TH849000 installed on their TracRac so you can see how it would look on yours.
