Good security and I like having one key operate the pins

by:

Easy to use and provides much extra security. Using it with a bike rack that stays on the jeep most of the time.

by:

Wheel feels very solid and I received it quickly. I had it welded to 5/16" wall 2" X 2" steel tubing so I can insert it when necessary . I didn't want to weld it under the tow hitch itself because of already low clearance . When inserted into the tow hitch the wheel extends 3/4" lower than hitch. My truck is a 2022 Chevy single axel cutaway.

by:

Good products fairly priced, took 4days to get here, paid for 3day shipping

by:

Great build. Heavy duty locking mechanism. Have no doubts this lock will hold up over time. Marked down one star because it's a little short for the gen 2.5 Tundra's receiver hitch and required me to shave off some metal off the stock receiver to get it to fit.

by:

E trailer had locking hitch pins that I needed and keyed them the same Love not having to figure out what key goes with what pin. Everything was in stock and shipping was fast.

by:

Have used it primarily with u-haul trailers. Sturdy, good locking, functional, would buy again.

by:

I recently bought several products from etrailer including a Curt 2” receiver hitch, Yakima bike rack, and a Blue Ox locking hitch pin. ettrailer was super easy to buy from. They definitely had the best prices and super quick shipping and their fit guide worked perfect when trying to get a product that will work with what I have. The Blue Ox locking hitch pin works great for securing your hitch. Fits perfect and is super easy to use. Would definitely recommend E-trailer to friends and family.

by:

I like securing my expensive blue-ox from theft. Disappointed that the chrome so quickly rusted.

by:

The lock has started to rust and is hard to unlock with the key even though I have kept the rubber keyhole cover in place to protect it.

by:

Did it's job well, unfortunately, when I upgraded to a 2.5inch receiver hitch the lock no longer fit

by:

Delivery was right on time! Thank you “etrailer” I will definitely be placing more orders with you.

by:

Added a step down receiver to the receiver on the new motorhome and need to remove the tow bar when it is being stowed. I hate using the spring mounted bolts that are standard (hard on the fingers) and this works great. Be sure you know whether you need one that is 2" or 2 1/2". I measured and bought the 2" one.

by:

I have not used this lock yet, but I wanted to take this opportunity to commend etrailer for their unparalleled customer service. This is not my first order and it will certainly not be the last. I wish other companies were even half as attentive and efficient.

by:

Had the lock 1 year, still looks good and have had no problems with it. I actually have 2 and would definitely recommend this product and of course etrailer. Great products, prices, fast shipping and great customer service.

by:

This product was good, but did not fit my hitch because I actually needed a inside length of 3 inch to 3 1/2 long to fit. This one was too short. However, not the fault of etrailer. Had to send back.

by:

Package arrived in good shape - just what I ordered. Installed easily & works great to tow car behind RV with bike rack in upper receiver spot. Arrived one day ahead of promised. Thanks

by:

Strong and easy to lock, non intrusive with safety chains or electrical equipment

by:

Great service and products as usual

by:

Bought the Blue Ox tow bar also. Couldn't be happier.

by:

I've had this product(receiver Lock) for about a year now and it still works great. Easy to install and remove.

by:

Heavy Duty, great item!

by:

Product as described. Use on pickup trailer hitch. Heavy duty.

by:

I just got around to installing my new lock. It fits good and I will feel better knowing that the tow bar will be safe.

by:

Received my order today and was surprised by the beefy size of the lock. The finish is very nice! This will definitely secure my solid stock Draw-Tite ball mount.

  • Trailer Wiring Harness and Other Parts to Tow a Trailer with a 2017 Chevrolet Traverse with Rear AC
From what we have found all the Chevrolet Traverse models from 2017 like yours have the factory tow package connector under the vehicle near the frame rail on the passenger's side even if it doesn't have the tow package. I've attached a picture that shows the connector you need to find. If your Traverse does have this connector you can use # 118270 for a 4-way trailer connector. This also includes the fuses and relays you'll need to install to activate the tow package. I've linked a video...

  • Trailer Hitch Lock With Barrel Key for 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver
By circular key, I believe you meant a barrel key, or barrel lock as they're sometimes called, and yes, there are a number of options for a lock that fits a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver that uses a barrel key, which are the following: - Blue Ox Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches # BX8858 - Fastway Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # FA86-00-3160 - MaxxTow Hitch Receiver Lock # MT38FR Of these, I like the Blue Ox the best because of its superior forged steel construction as well as...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe SE
I suggest the Curt # C13153 for your 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe SE. The Curt has a little higher maximum weight capacity than the Draw-Tite # 75776. As far as installation the process is the same. I've linked videos of each for you to see. If you're going to be towing with your Santa Fe you'll also need wiring. The harness # C56332 will provide you with a 4-way trailer connector. This harness fits your SUV if you have the factory tow package. If not, then you'll need # C59236. You may...

  • Recommended Wiring Harness and Other Parts Needed to Tow a Trailer with a 2017 Kia Niro
I recommend the # C59496 wiring harness for your 2017 Kia Niro. It's a universal harness because there are no wiring options available for your vehicle. The Curt works with almost all wiring and lighting types and uses a powered converter to protect the vehicle's sensitive wiring. I've included an install video on another vehicle but the process will be very similar for yours. If you don't already have a trailer hitch receiver I recommend the Curt # C13329. It's a Class III hitch that...

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75560 is a confirmed fit for your 2005 Outback wagon. It will have a ground clearance of 10 inches from the bottom of the lip on the receiver tube. If you will be towing with this hitch receiver, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118461. This installs to factory wiring inside the cargo area behind the trim on the driver's side. I've attached a video...

  • Parts Needed to Add a Trailer Hitch Receiver to a 2014 Toyota Highlander
It depends on what you're using the trailer hitch receiver for. First off, I recommend the Draw-Tite # DT65MR for the hitch receiver. It bolts right onto your 2014 Toyota Highlander and all the necessary hardware is included. If you plan to use the hitch for carrying a cargo carrier or bike rack then the only other thing you need is that accessory and you're good to go. If you plan to use the hitch to tow a trailer you'll also need trailer wiring, a ball mount, hitch ball, and a pin...

I've actually seen this before with another one of our customers and we found out that apparently the factory hitches that Toyota uses on their trucks and SUVs are a bit thicker than many of the aftermarket options. Instead of the # BX8858 you'll want to use the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock - Extra Long - Flush Design for 2-1/2" Trailer Hitches # e98881. Yes, the wiring harness # C59496 will work with the LED lights on your 2017 Mazda CX-5. If you don't already have a trailer hitch receiver I suggest the Draw-Tite # 76138. It's a 2 inch, Class III hitch receiver which will give you more capacity and variety when it comes to towing or carrying accessories on the hitch. For a ball mount, I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount - 2" Hitch - 5" Drop, 5-1/2" Rise - 7.5K - Black # BWTS10038B. This will give you an adjustable hitch to tow...

All of the hardware is included and no drilling is required for installation. If your Transit does not have the factory tow package you can use # C56327 for a 4-way trailer connector and you can add the # ETBC7 kit if you need a 7-way.
