Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a Draw Tite trailer hitch receiver lock. Now this is a flush style trailer hitch receiver lock that's used in place of a standard pin and clip to prevent theft of your ball mount of hitch mount accessories, so you can secure your bike rack, ball mount, cargo carrier, hitch cover, tow bar and more to your trailer hitch. This one features a pick-proof square key design, which provides maximum security. It's made from a durable steel construction with zinc finishing to resist rust and corrosion, and it does come with a dust cover that keeps moisture and dirt out of the key slot.So to operate it, what you need to do is you need to take one of the two keys, place it in, give it a turn until this portion right here pops out. That means that the lock is disengaged from the ball bearing system, which is also very secure and now you can remove or add the included sleeve, which changes the diameter of the pin from 5/8 of an inch to 3/4 of an inch. You can place this through your hitch and through your accessory and then you take this, and you place it back on the end of the pin, fit it all the way on there, push that down, you need to move it into the lock position first.
Push it down to lock it in place.So it's a nice, easy to use design. Then you take that cover place it back over to keep dirt and grime out of the key slot. Really that's all there is to it. Again, this is a 5/8-inch diameter and then you can convert it to 3/4-inch diameter when the sleeve is installed. It's designed to fit hitches with three-inch by three-inch trailer hitch receivers.
It will also work for 2-1/2 inch hitches and two-inch hitches.
