This hitch cover is a great way to protect your receiver and express yourself, all in one.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Star Wars Darth Vader Trailer Hitch Cover for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches, part number PC002282R01, also available in Storm Trooper, part number PC002280R01. You can show your support for the rebels, part number PC002279R01, or the Empire with part number PC002281R01. Together you and Darth Vader can rule the galaxy or the highway. This unit is going to allow you to protect your hitch receiver. It's an all metal cover that's painted in a chip-resistant black enamel on a rustproof, brushed aluminum face plate. This unit is designed to slide into your 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" or 2" by 2" trailer hitch receiver. It's got the nine brackets here on the back, a couple different mounting holes. You're also going to have the 2" bracket with three mount hole locations. It's a really simple installation, all you got to do is slide the bracket inside your receiver tube, line up the hole that's best going to work for your particular hitch, then you'll need to slide in a 1/2" pin and clip, when using 1-1/4" brackets.
If you're going to use a 2" bracket you need to use a 5/8" pin and clip. These are available and sold separately. For the 1/2" you can use part number PC2 and for the 5/8" pin and clip you can use part number PC3. With this fully installed it's going to help keep out any rust, dust, dirt or debris. If you want to lock this to your hitch you can add a hitch lock. If you're using a 1-1/4" bracket that will be part number 63147.

Really Like this product, only wish it was a solid square insert that goes into the trailer hitch
I was expecting something much cheaper, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that this piece is rather high quality. It's solid and has some heft to it. It does scratch a little easy (unpacking it the hard plastic shell bit it in a spot). Some minor filing of the brackets make it slide in and out perfect.
I really get a lot of compliments on this hitch cover. It has held up to the elements really well. No rust. No chipping. It can even take up close power washing.
The hitch cover looks great the only thing that makes it 4 stars instead of 5 is the screws did not want to screw in all the way. I had to keep screwing them in and out with force several times to get them completely seated.

Awesome item! Not a flaw on the hitch cover. Had a small hiccup with the economy shipping, the box was lost for about a week. BUT, I can't brag enough about the service of etrailer trying to find it. Thanks, to Mike, Rebecca, & Jennifer for putting up with me and finding my item. I don't know who Jennifer called or what she said but WOW!, that box showed up fast after that. Great items and out-of-this world customer service!!!!

The bracket was a little snug for my 1-1/4" hitch but with a little wiggling it is firmly in place and locked. It looks as cool as it does online.

Thank you for the follow up. We loved the product and received lots of compliments. Unfortunately we suspect a steep driveway or something got us as the lower half has sheared off completely.
Great product. I was actually expecting it to be somewhat cheaply made, but to my surprise, it's really solid and heavy-duty. I like dealing with eTrailer because shipping is fast and price is fair.
