Today we're going to be taking a look at part number AMG100543. This is the Tennessee Chrome Logo Emblem 2" hitch cover from AMG. This hitch cover is going to allow you to represent to your school pride. It's going to add a clean, finished look to your hitch and it's going to help keep dirt and grime out of the hitch. The hitch cover is going to be made from a steel construction. It's going to feature a very nice black, powder-coat finish which is going to offer great rust and corrosion protection. We're going to have a chrome plated, metal emblem right here on the front.
It's got a rust-proof and fade-proof design that is American made. On the backside, we're going to feature a foam gasket. This is going to help reduce rattling between the hitch and the hitch cover. This is included. The product is an officially licensed product. The hitch cover is a simple installation.
This piece right here just slides into your 2" by 2" hitch. Push it in until your pinholes line up and then secure it with your hitch pin clip or a hitch pin and lock. Those items are sold separately so if you need one you can find them right here at etrailer.com. The pinhole in the hitch cover's going to be elongated. It will accept a standard 5/8" pin. A few measurements to go over with you real quick starting with the face.
That's going to give us an overall width of about 5". Overall height of about 3 and 1/2". If we take a measurement from the back of the foam pad to the center of the hitch pinhole, we can see that that's going to give us a measurement of about 2 and 1/2". Again this is designed for your 2" by 2" hitch. That's going to do it for today's look at part number AMG100543..

Did a lot of research on this product and it came through with flying colors. I ordered this product and one other from another site. This cover was superior in thickness size and chrome. Also the pin opening is large enough for standard 4" pins. If you are considering this product I suggest you don't wait. As for the company, great service. I was contacted shortly after the purchase, tracked the item and was contact about satisfaction after delivery. Outstanding. Love this hitch cover. It is exactly what I was looking for.
Before I took it out of the box, I could tell that this was a high quality product. The colors are bright and the fit is perfect. The foam seal to keep water out of the hitch was an unexpected nice touch. It looks great on my truck.
Be advised, it does not come with any kind of retaining device, you will need a hitch pin to keep it in place. I purchased a locking pin because something as nice as this would probably get stolen.
I love the emblem. Exactly as shown in the photos and the construction of this is solid.
My only problem is that the length of the tube does not allow me to use it when I have the anti-rattle collar installed. I have to remove the anti-rattle when not towing. I would love it if there was an option for a tube that is maybe 1 inch longer.

This unit, if waxed regularly will last you several vehicles and still look great!
