Camper AC System That Has Cleanable Filters For Good Airflow Year Round

Published 05/12/2026

Question:

I’m replacing an AC on a camper that sits under a lot of trees at our seasonal site. I’m less worried about fancy features and more worried about cleaning filters and keeping airflow decent. Anything here make sense?

Hey Juno! The Coleman-Mach # CM73RR would make sense if your camper is ductless and you want a complete 15,000 Btu system with easy ceiling controls. The included air distribution box has pop-out grilles, so cleaning the filters is pretty simple when dust, pollen, and tree debris start adding up.

It also has front and rear dampers so you can aim airflow where you want it instead of just blasting one spot. This is a complete ductless system, so it’s best for RVs without ceiling ductwork. Is your current AC a direct-discharge setup right under the ceiling unit, Juno?
