Question:
Looking at the Coleman-Mach AC systems here, replacing an old Carrier, what is the difference between the Roughneck and the Signature Mach 15?

Hey Bill, great question! The Signature Mach 15 is your standard AC unit which is probably what you want. The Roughneck has a fortified interior making it ideal for off-road and heavy industrial vehicle applications. Basically it is made to take more of a beating.
If you had an old carrier and it is wearing out from use over time (I'm guessing that is the case here) the Signature is what you want. If you have been off-roading with your trailer lately and it killed off the Carrier then the Roughneck is the way to go.
All of the systems will be a complete replacement since you're upgrading from an old R410A unit to the new R32 refrigerant following 2025 EPA guidelines. You can choose from the following based on ducted/ductless and color:
-Coleman-Mach Signature Mach 15 RV AC System - Ductless - 15,000 Btu - Textured White # CM43RR
-Coleman-Mach Signature Mach 15 RV AC System - Ductless - 15,000 Btu - Polished White # CM93RR
-Coleman-Mach Signature Mach 15 RV AC System - Ductless - 15,000 Btu - Textured Black # CM73RR
-Coleman-Mach Signature Mach 15 RV AC System - Ductless - 15,000 Btu - Polished Black # CM63RR
-Coleman-Mach Signature Mach 15 RV AC System - Ducted - 15,000 Btu - Textured White # CM32RR
-Coleman-Mach Signature Mach 15 RV AC System - Ducted - 15,000 Btu - Polished White # CM52RR
-Coleman-Mach Signature Mach 15 RV AC System - Ducted - 15,000 Btu - Textured Black # CM42RR
-Coleman-Mach Signature Mach 15 RV AC System - Ducted - 15,000 Btu - Polished Black # CM92RR
Then for the Roughneck:
-Coleman-Mach Roughneck Mach 15 RV AC System - Ductless - 15,000 Btu - Textured White # CM28RR
-Coleman-Mach Roughneck Mach 15 RV AC System - Ductless - 15,000 Btu - Polished White # CM88RR
-Coleman-Mach Roughneck Mach 15 RV AC System - Ductless - 15,000 Btu - Textured Black # CM53RR
-Coleman-Mach Roughneck Mach 15 RV AC System - Ducted - 15,000 Btu - Textured White # CM75RR
-Coleman-Mach Roughneck Mach 15 RV AC System - Ducted - 15,000 Btu - Polished White # CM65RR
-Coleman-Mach Roughneck Mach 15 RV AC System - Ducted - 15,000 Btu - Textured Black # CM85RR
What kind of trailer do you have?

Your guess is correct, it is older and is starting to fail. It's an older travel trailer, might fall apart if I took it off road. Thanks for the info, sounds like the Signature is the right one for me!
