InfiniteRule products undergo extensive third-party testing to determine shear strength. The shear strength is determined by placing the locking pin in a stress position and subjecting it to increasing force until a required proof load (maximum force received without deformity) is met or the pin fails. These locks have a shear strength of 32,000 lbs.
The short pin included with this set is used as a hitch lock to secure your Curt Deep Drop adjustable 2-ball mount to your 2" hitch receiver. The other 2 locks replace the pins that secure the ball platform to the adjustable shank.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at these InfiniteRule Locks for your Curt Deep Drop adjustable 2-ball mount. These flush style locking pins are going to let you completely secure your Curt Deep Drop adjustable 2-ball mount for your two inch hitch receiver. And the longer pins that we have back here are going to secure your ball mount platform to the adjustable shank. And the shorter pin that we have right here is going to secure the shank to your trailer hitch. Now, this does have a keyed alike option that's going to give you convenient one key operation. As you can see here, three keys are included and the weather resistant tethered dust cap is going to keep water and debris out of the keyway.
Now, I'd like to give you a brief demonstration of just how easy these are going to be to use. So, I removed my cap there, I'm going to insert one of the keys and you're just going to turn it counterclockwise to loosen the lock there. As you can see, it comes right off. This has an O-ring, if you can see it right there, that's going to protect the internal components from dirt and grime. And then, when you're ready to then secure this pin, you'll just go ahead, replace the head and you just twist the key like a screw until it gets nice and tight.
Then, once it's tight and the pin is locked, then you're just going to back the key off to the nearest mark there. So, lemme see if I can do that for you. And once you get it to the nearest mark, that's going to allow you to remove that key. So, these are going to be very simple to use and then you're just going to replace the cap to keep that keyway clear. Now, these are made here in the USA of a durable stainless steel construction.

So, the overall length of our hitch lock pin, as you can see, we are sitting right at, right about five and three quarters inches long overall. And then, the diameter is five eighth's of an inch. And then, the inside length right here, also known as the span, lemme see if I can line that up for you. We are sitting right at, right about three and one eighths inches. And then, let me take one of these ball mount lock pins and measure this for you. So, again, the overall length, we're sitting right at six inches long. The diameter is three quarters of an inch. And again, measuring that inside length, or the span, we are sitting right at three and three eighths inches. So, these are very heavy duty, high quality locking pins that's going to do a great job of securing, completely securing your Curt Deep Drop adjustable 2-ball mount for your two inch hitch. BW hitches are the fest hitch on the market. Innovative design and made in America are two of the boxes I try to check when making a purchase. Hitch lock is sleek and secure.
I leave the lock on my hitch 24/7/365 so it is always exposed to the weather. Truck spent a couple of months parked in seashore environment. Removed the lock a few weeks ago and had no problems. The plastic cover over the key slot seems to have protected things well. Very satisfied with the locks, couldn't ask for anything more.

One thing a little odd and time consuming is that the only way I could unlock it was to turn the key counter clockwise and unscrew it- didn't expect that and it is awkward.

Have used the 2" version in the past. Both work great. Tamper proof for sure. Of course hasn't rusted (stainless). Another etrailer quality part. Worth the investment IMO.
Yeah, I like the way it’s made stainless steel twist lock key release at 12 3,6 and 9 positive, alignment with four corners, male and female, and a readily available O-ring in case the other one breaks. I plan on putting anti-seas in the threaded portion of the lock in a waterproof grease everywhere else. Ordered through online and was on my doorstep before I knew it. In other words very well made thank you.
Receiving this lock I was disappointed. The end opposite of the key lock is smaller than the in photo on your website. To be specific, its only 3/4”, which is only an 1/8” larger than the shaft itself. (See photo) Over time hitch receivers get sloppy from use and can enlarge the 5/8” lock pin hole. In short, the end should be at least 7/8 to 1” in size to allow for hole slop. Another thing is it’s difficult to hold the end while turning the key. The quality seems good and I like that it’s made in the U.S.A., made of stainless steel, and its 3 5/8” length. However, due to the issues I mentioned above, I will be returning it. Don’t know what the manufacturer was thinking here and unsafe in my opinion.

The lock is super easy to use. I like that it fits tightly to the receiver which should deter someone from simply breaking it off.
It is a very good and strong hitch. I haul many different trailers and loads and it handles them all flawlessly. Make sure you use the grease (that comes with it) on the pins to be able to easily move the hitch when needed.
So happy with this lock. Been looking everywhere for 1. Fits my gooseneck perfectly and I feel safer now that my new air ride shock absorber hitch is now locked on. Thank you. Fast ship as usual , great service
So far, this looks to be much more secure than any other hitch lock on the market. My last B&W hitch was stolen from me at an airport parking lot. The thieves managed to use a chisel to just knock the locking mechanism off. Ultimate Rule's design where it screws into itself will prevent this method of theft, and the close tolerance design prevents most any method of cutting that I can foresee. Great design, fingers crossed!

Christmas gift for my son. Lock fit the trailer hitch perfect. Shipping was prompt. Tracking was easy to follow. Happy with the entire transaction process.
I returned it. I wanted this one as a locking pin on my adjustable hitch. So this didn't go into my hitch receiver but on the adjustable part of my adjustable hitch. The flare/flange on the non-lock side of the pin was no were near large enough to prevent the pin from just sliding straight through. For reference, I have a fastway adjustable hitch that I bought from etrailer.
The hitch locking pin is well built and I would buy again, but not again from etrailer. That is saying a lot, because I have been buying from etriler for more than 15 years. Their customer service and return policy now stinks. I accidentally ordered the wrong length of pin, which is my mistake. Within 5 minutes I called their customer service and hit an automated service telling me there was an almost 20 minute wait. The item was still pending being sent. I immediately sent an email explaining what happened and asking to exchange the item for the correct size. I did not get response for 5 days, the day the item arrived. Alternatively, I received a email the same day about a different item. The email was apologetic but stated I would have to pay for postage both ways, which was more than half the price of the item I purchased. I could have bought the same item from [online vendor] for slightly less with free returns. I guess I know where I will be looking in the future. Customer service is king in my opinion. I will pay more if I receive superior customer service.
its a hitch lock, so not much to say, but it works great and nice to keep my B&W tow and stow attached all the time without much concern of it disappearing.
Based on the weight, this pin seems much better than the stuff you get at Home Depot, Tractor Supply etc. It fit the 2.5" hitch on my 2016 GMC 2500 perfect. I saw one review concerned about the head size on the pin compared to the holes in the hitch. It is close but the force should be front to back not side to side so Im not worried about that.
