Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking together at our TRIMAX lock pin set for your adjustable two-inch aluminum hitches. Now folks, these are gonna be keyed alike. They are a durable heavy duty construction. They are chrome plated steel, that's hardened steel, so it's gonna give you long lasting strength and also nice wear resistance.
And as you can see, you've got rubber plugs keeping the dirt, debris, dust, moisture out of the ends that the locks go on. And I've played with this brand a couple times, and as you can see, I've kind of already opened one here for the demo because they actually are on pretty tight, which I love. Don't get me wrong 'cause that's what you want, but sometimes they are a little bit tough to get off. So like I said, I pre-opened one of these before the shot here today for you. You're gonna get four keys.
These are keyed alike, and you simply insert the tube key, barrel key, whatever you wanna call it, and just like that you can open it, and then you must have the key in there to then lock it again. So, as I mentioned, barrel keys, tube keys, they have different names. These are probably one of the hardest locks to pick that are out there that I've seen. And the key itself, just hard to copy and make something like that and get in there. So very, very nice as far as security.
And then of course once you get it locked, you wanna push that rubber plug cover back over. As you can see you've got a five eighth inch diameter option here, and the usable span between the two ends is three and a half inches. And then you got your half inch one here, and the usable span between there is three and five eighth inches. So this would be for locking the ball platform. And then obviously this would be for mounting to, through the hitch tube and that part of the shank to lock everything.
Well, folks, that is gonna wrap it up for our look together. I do wanna make sure that you know these are compatible and made specifically for, again, the TRIMAX two inch adjustable aluminum hitches, specifically the Razor AL-RP series. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
