Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at these InfiniteRule 2 1/2 inch trailer hitch receiver locks for your CURT AlumaLite adjustable ball mount. Now, these heavy duty stainless steel flush-style hitch locks are gonna give you superior security when locking a ball mount or accessory to your CUT AlumaLite hitch to your 2 1/2 inch trailer hitch receiver. The grooved pinhead is going to be very easy to grab. And then, these both have a weather-resistant tethered dust cap to keep water and debris outta the keyways.
You are going to get two keys. Everything's keyed alike. So, one key will run the show. Let me give you a brief demonstration here. I'm gonna insert the key and I'm gonna turn counterclockwise like I'm loosening the screw or a bolt.
As you can see, it's starting to come loose. And then just like that, it's going to come unlocked, and then you can run this, lock through what you need to secure. Did wanna show you that these do have an an O-ring to protect the internal components from dirt and the grime. Dirt and grime. When you're ready to lock 'em up, you're just going to connect them and then just turn it clockwise like you're tightening up a screw until it gets tight.
Then, once it gets tight, you just want to line up the key to the nearest hash marks. There's notches or hash marks around the ring. And then, you line up to the nearest set of marks there. You're gonna be able to remove the key. And then, you'll just be able to close that keyway off with that cap and that keyway will be nice and protected.
So again, two keys. These are going to work with your 2 1/2 inch trailer hitch receiver. And taking a look at the receiver lock first, giving you the overall length end to end here. We're sitting pretty close to 5 1/4 inches. And then, looking at the span or the inside pin length inside to inside. Looks like about 3 1/8th inches. And then, taking a look at the hitch lock here. Again, end to end. Pretty close to about about 6 3/4 inches overall. And then, looking at the inside pin length, right at about 4 1/8th inches inside to inside. So, you've got your hitch lock here, which is gonna be the longer one. And then the receiver lock, which will be the shorter. And if you happen to have any questions about these locks or any of the other locks or items that we carry here at etrailer.com, don't hesitate to reach back out to us.
