Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this InfiniteRule hitch lock for your Blue Ox off-road adapter. Now right off the bat, I want to let you know that you can get this as a set of two or just this one hitch lock. So whichever quantity is going to work best for your particular application, just take the associated model number that you see there on your screen, pop it in the search field of our website. That will take you to the quantity that you're looking for and you can add that to your order. Now this hitch lock is going to replace the standard pin for your swivel hook or shackle, and this is going to work with your Blue Ox 7/8 of an inch off-road adapter, securing your swivel hook or shackle to your bumper mount.

This has a safe working load limit of 10,000 pounds. And this does have a weather-resistant tethered dust cap that's going to keep water and debris out of the keyway. And you are going to get two keys. Everything's keyed alike here. So just going to take one of the keys here and I'm going to turn it counterclockwise like I'm loosening a screw or a bolt.

And that's going to loosen the head here from the lock and it's going to allow me to remove it just like that. And if you notice here, we do have an O-ring that's going to protect those internal components from dirt and grime. And then to lock this back up, just replace the head and then you'll turn clockwise like you're tightening up a bolt or a screw. Then you can see it's closing up there. And then once it's tight enough, you're just going to back the keys off to the nearest set of hash marks that you find here around the ring.

And once you line the key up to the nearest set of hash marks, that's going to allow you to release the key. You'll close that cover back up and you'll be good to go. So that's how easy this is going to be. This is made out of durable stainless steel construction. So it's going to prevent rusting.

InfiniteRule products undergo extensive third-party testing to determine shear strength. And the shear strength is determined by placing the hitch lock in a stress position and subjecting it to increasing force until a required proof load or maximum force received without deformity is met or the pin fails. So this hitch lock has a shear strength of 30,000 pounds. The diameter is 7/8 of an inch. Let me give you some other measurements that might prove helpful for you. So bringing my ruler into frame here, looking at the overall length simply from end to end, right at about 5-1/2-inches. And then probably the more important measurement there is going to be the inside pin length or span measuring inside to inside. It looks like we're right at 2-3/4-inches. So very simple to use, yet very robust, very well constructed. It's going to hold up really well for you. And again, you can get just this one or a set of two, whichever's going to work best for you.
