Towing gear takes a beating, so corrosion resistance matters. This hitch has a black carbide powder coat finish over a rust-resistant liquid Bonderite coating. The two-layer protection keeps moisture and road grime from getting to the steel underneath. The open-back receiver also makes it easy to clear out dirt or debris after a trip down gravel roads or muddy trails.
No welding or frame mods are needed to get this hitch mounted. It bolts right to the frame using the included hardware kit, and everything lines up cleanly thanks to the vehicle-specific design. Whether you’re tackling the job in a driveway or shop bay, it’s built to go on without drilling. Once installed, you’ve got a solid 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" receiver that’s ready for towing, cargo carriers, or other heavy-duty accessories.

Probably not all the fault of etrailer but received a box with one bolt and one nut and one backing plate. Everything else fell out. I reached out to the number provided and it's been four days still no response. Maybe this will help.
