Will The Curt C96CRHitch Fit a 2021 GMC Sierra 2500 Without A Factory Hitch

I just ordered the Curt C96CR, but realized I had entered my truck as a 2020 Silverado 2500 without the factory hitch. I have a 2021. Will this still fit and if I need to return it, is there an equally or more heavy duty option available for my truck? Thanks

The Curt hitches that fit a 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 without a factory installed hitch are actually the exact same fitments for the 2021 and 2022 model years, including their # C96CR, so you are perfectly good to go.

This will also be the most heavy duty option we currently have available for your Silverado and is rated up to 20,000 pounds towing and 2,700 pounds of tongue weight. Though there is no drill needed to get this installed, you will need to lower your spare tire to get access to everything.
