Good Morning, I have a 2024 Chevy ZR2 2500HD and I am looking for a 2 1/2” hitch that is compatible with the Multi-Flex tailgate. I would need a 8-9” . What products do you recommend so my Multi-Flex tailgate would never come in contact with the hitch. Thanks for your time.

Hi Mike; I'm assuming you don't have a factory hitch on your 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 ZR2. If that is the case, you can use the Curt # C96CR. The receiver on this hitch will sit under the bumper and Curt confirmed it won't interfere with the multi-flex tailgate. The only thing it might hit is a ball mount if you choose to leave it in place.
If you have a ball mount like the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount - Compatible with GM MultiPro Tailgate # BWTS20066BMP it wont' be a problem. You could also use the 2-1/2" Hitch Cap Sensor for GMC Sierra MultiPro and Chevy Silverado Multi-Flex Tailgates # C36UR to keep it from making contact.

Hey Mike, how did the Curt hitch work out on your Silverado ZR2 with the Multi-Flex tailgate? Did it give you the clearance you needed without hitting the ball mount? Your update could make it easier for others setting up the same truck.
